El Plantío Golf Resort

El personal de 10, todos muy agradables y atentos.El apartamento amplio y las camas cómodas. Los baños estaban limpios, aunque como dicen en otras reseñas, es cierto que se nota la humedad del sitio y que necesitan un mantenimiento más profundo de vez en cuando en algunas zonas.Las dos piscinas estaban muy bien.Aunque ponía que tenía minigolf, realmente solo tiene un putting green.Lo hemos disfrutado y la media pensión a nosotros nos encantó, podíamos elegir si algún día preferíamos comida que cena aunque el menú más variado era por la noche, las opciones de la mañana estaban muy bien y también eran flexibles:)

The room I’m in smells of damp and is dusty.Walk in shower is great and the pools look amazing.I got a frosty reception when I arrived and have not received the pillow I asked for, they tried to up sell me the underground parking which you don’t need as there are plenty of free spaces.Food at the bar was lovely overlooking the pool and staff there were more friendly. Close to the airport which is great as that’s why I booked it, golf course looks lovely.

Amazing, can't rate this place highly enough. We had a 2 bed apartment (there is a choice of size) and it was well equipped for basic catering. The apartment was spacious and clean and we were surprised that house keeping looked after the apartment everyday during our stay. Staff were fantastic and the reception staff spoke very good English. Pools were large and possibly heated (the one by our apartment was warmer than the unheated pool at our Spanish house). Restaurant on site with a good range of food to suit all tastes, it was reasonably priced and the food was amazing. The grounds are very well cared for. El Plantio is a 9 minute, easy drive, to Alicante airport. You would need a car.

Los apartamentos están muy bien, amplios y completos. Nos hemos alojado en dos ocasiones y la segunda vez nos alojaron en un piso bajo el cual estaba adaptado a personas de movilidad reducida por lo que las duchas era bastante complicado utilizarlas ya que todo el agua salía fuera, la solución que nos dieron fue dejarnos más toallas para que las pusiéramos en el suelo y así no convertir el baño en una piscina. Los dos baños del apartamento estaban adaptados. Tenedlo en cuenta cuando hagáis reserva si pensáis alojaros aquí. Por lo demás bien. Los desayunos poca organización.

Surprisingly good. When we went there we didn’t have any expectations but the course setup was really good and the course was well mentained. Totally recommend for a one or two day trip or even for a late departure from Alicante airport

Instalaciones geniales. Que ayudan a sentirte muy cómodo en el lugar.Piscinas increíbles. Tendrían que cuidar un poco el servicio de socorristas ya que están continuamente mirando el móvil ( es difícil verlos mirar a la piscina)El servicio de limpieza es bueno.El servicio de restaurante ( mes agosto ) desbordado, aún así buen trato.El desayuno buffet es bueno, lo único que con tanta gente se terminan las cosas y tienes que esperar a que las repongan.Lo peor del hotel es el gimnasio. No debería ni estar abierto.

Absolutely blown away by the apartment at this resort! Huge and very well equipped. Lovely and quiet too with a huge comfortable bed. The only thing that let it down was that there was no kettle so had to boil water on the hob to make a cuppa! Had a lovely meal in the restaurant too, with brilliant service. We will return one day and stay longer than one night too!

Beautiful resort, amazing service and staff, fantastic apartment very clean. bit out of the way. Taxi needed to get into Alicante. If you are looking to chill out or play golf its perfect.

I had a one week stay in mid November which might have influence my experience at this hotel.I had a 2 bedroom apt on the ground floor.The apt was well maintained, the balcony/patio very “bushy”, overall little sun during the day and very cold during the night. The place was quiet, no traffic noise but instead you could hear your neighbours. I set the heating up but I couldn’t get more than 21 degrees into the living room but actually it felt like more less. Each day I hoped that the walls will get warmer but didn’t happen, I froze every night with my sweater on.I loved the fact that it had a washing machine and dish machine and I was bothered by the fact that I didn’t have a dish soap or a sponge.I didn’t mind that the breakfast was not that big or gluten free or whatever and the coffee was also good.I haven’t tried the pool.My favourite part was the dinner ( Demi Pension) where I could choose from 2 starters, 2 main courses and 4 types of dessert. Different menu each evening. Easy and rapid, the food was delicious, well presented and the portions normally sized. Anyway I felt full each time. If you are looking for a place to barbarically stuff yourself this is not for you. The personal at the restaurant was very nice.I rented a car and I could park it for free on site.From there I could go to the beach in Alicante(15 min), Santa Pola (25 min), I got also to visit Murcia(50 min). You should be aware of the location before you come here.

Overall a disappointing experience. The rooms were great (large, clean, comfortable), but old, and the poor service / attention to detail experienced throughout (with the exception of two waiters) reflected in the room, too, by non-working shower and lack of hangers in one of the wardrobes. The receptionists appeared too bored to sort anything or even speak courteously to guests. Yhe frosty attitude really spoiled things for us. The golfing staff were outright rude. I travel very often and i find this hotel at the bottom 20% i have experienced. Not the worst, but very far from reasonable standard expectations considering the price and star status.The worst was the noise coming out from neighbouring apartments. Every movement, every shower, all was audible to the point of waking us up.We had included meals in our stay deal. The food was of patchy quality: excellent pizza and the odd dish, but poor... most other food. It seemed cooked several days previously and reheated on the day. Breakfast ok, with excellent freshly squeezed orange juice, but the rest was under average.After writing this review, i checked out the others. Interestingly (but also tellingly), the hotel has not responded to any of those reviews. Well then, no wonder.
