Definitely must see. Was beautiful walk and is worth it. I also loved the boats was affordable but if you can reserve online and skip the line. We hadn’t been able to reserve on the website that was recommended on the board at the park but it was lovely!

El Parque de El Retiro es un lugar imprescindible al que ir si vas a Madrid. En otoño está precioso con sus hojas caídas. Hay fuentes donde rellenar agua. Recomiendo ir con calzado cómodo y pasear largo y tendido por el parque.Hasta de noche tiene su encanto, pero CUIDADO! hay zonas poco iluminadas que, si vas sol@, el riesgo de sufrir un susto aumenta... Así que si quieres hacer un paseo nocturno aconsejo ir acompañad@.

Parque de El Retiro
Parque histórico de Madrid. Lo puedes disfrutar para pasear, hacer deporte al aire libre. Lleno de esculturas y palacios es también un espacio para disfrutar la cultura. Bello y distinto en todas las temporadas del año. Declarado Patrimonio por la UNESCO dentro del conjunto Paisaje de la Luz. Un sitio para volver y volver y siempre descubrirás algo nuevo.

It’s a beautiful park especially with the warm weather. It’s one of those places where you can just sit for hours and people watch. Very popular with tourists and locals. I think everyone coming to Madrid should come, admire the breath taking architecture. Free admission.

Beautiful, clean park in the middle of Madrid fantastic for walks, picnics, and people-watching. Plenty to do, and if you have the time, definitely spend half a day here to escape the hustle and bustle of life.

Parque de El Retiro
No me canso de pasear por él cada vez que vengo a Madrid.Cuidado y precioso. Obligada visita.Hay chiringuitos para poder tomar algo, el parque está muy bien cuidado y se puede pasear tranquilamente, hacer ejercicio…Además, siempre hay alguien haciendo música en directo. Este parque, simplemente, enamora.

Nunca en mi vida vi tanta hermosura junta.Un parque espléndido, limpio, con vistas increíbles y muchísimo espacio para caminar o hacer deporte.Dentro del parque se pueden encontrar varios quioscos y restaurantes, donde ofrecen desayunos, almuerzos y meriendas. Desde cafés hasta la clásica paella.

Beautiful at any time of the year, but especially in fall with the beauty of the trees, falling leaves, other flora and fauna. It's a wonderful park to walk, rest, read and explore in. There's a man-made lake where the rent row boats. People feed the ducks and fish (huge fish by the way)! Many people have picnics, bike, run or just sit and read. There are public bathrooms and many places to sit down and eat a meal, have tapas, or just tea/coffee. There are a few places to get candy or chips or something to drink as well. A great respite where can just enjoy nature in the center of the city!

Beautiful place! Wear comfy shoes, as rocks can get in your sandals. There is plenty to see and plenty places to sit. highly recommend doing a picnic. Also, the glass house was under renovation, so double check that its open if you want to see that.

Parque de El Retiro
I visited Madrid in August of this year (2023) and this was the perfect park to visit in the city centre. There are several tourist attractions, seating areas, ponds and food stands in this park. You can even go kayaking in the main pond. The ponds have several animals in them such as ducks, geese, carp and even turtles. The wooded areas have loads of birds including parakeets, nuthatches, magpies, starlings, blackbirds and loads more! It is an amazing location for those who like nature, birdwatching or walks. I would highly recommend.
