Bad experience, I will never use them again.They upgarded my car by actually downgrading it - I was expecting a regular car but during pickup they informed me that they didn't have the car I reserved, so they were going to upgrade to a higher model. It turned out that the car they gave me was badly damaged being very difficult to properly close the trunk, and had all the dash informations set in chinese characters. I could not get it back to an European language during the entire rental.They asked for a deposit by blocking 1400 € on my credit card but then kept it blocked for 34 days without any reason, despite the car being turned in on time, with a full deposit and no extra damages. I could not use all my credit limit for this amount of time. It was only after I presented a complaint with my bank that I could get the value unblocked.[Later answer to Record go's comment]Record Go says I should use their channels and forms to explain what happened to me. Well, I already did for several times to get my credit card deposit unblocked and the result was 34 days without credit. Their automatic answering system is a joke. La verdad es que la experiencia no fue muy buena. Las empleadas poco amables y tuvimos que cambiar de voche tres veces. La primera por que no tenía limpia parabrisas el coche , la segunda por que nos dieron un coche con la categoría más baja y después de esperar casi una hora y media ya nos dieron el coche que nos tocaba por categoría. La verdad es que el coche al final perfecto pero creo que hay que ser un poquito más amables con el cliente. Gracias

We made a reservation for a car to be picked up at Barcelona's T1 terminal. The online booking experience was a breeze, not a single issue. Prices, especially those including the all-inclusive insurance coverage - even with the trans-border option, were highly competitive. You also have to pay an extra 120 euros for the fuel option, which will be refunded if and when the car is returned with a full tank (in our case, it was refunded on the same day - perfect). We had no problems with the car, and we put close to 2000 miles on it in 2 weeks. But getting the car at the counter was absolute mayhem. Only 2 employees on a Saturday morning, who insist on using an internet kiosk which needs to be rebooted several times just to access the reservation via a QR code, customers who cut the line, or who have to enter their passport info right there and then on a terminal that's not working and bugs out. You then have to take a picture of the kiosk screen showing the car location downstairs with your phone camera to show to the attendant once you get there. No printed contract (which is supposed to be emailed, but never was), just that picture. Of course, downstairs is the same mess - between people wanting to get the keys to their car (with the phone picture) and those returning their car, without contract and all in a tiny 20 x 12 feet of a cubicle. It took us 90 minutes to get the car, and finally get on our way. So if you are in a hurry and be on the road fast, Record Go may not be the best choice. But if you want good prices and have plenty of time, they should absolutely be considered.

Me entregaron un coche muy muy sucio y no me dieron solución, pasaron bastante d miAl devolverlo si fueron muy amables, pero era otra persona la q me atendióEl coche iba bien, pero tener q alquilar algo y pagar por q t lo entreguen sucio y los trabajadores no t ayuden a solucionar este problema me parece fatalNunca me habías dado un coche b d alquiles tan sucio

I was a bit afraid about the reviews and tried to be very careful. My conclusion is that if you book directly from the website and get the full insurance you will have no problems with them.For me it was a really great experience renting with record go. I was waiting in the queue but since I had already a reservation, a staff member gave me priority. She was very helpful and provided excellent service. We rented the cheapest car they had availiable at that time on the website. And it exceeded our expectations. Driving that car was an experience itself.They took a deposit of 120 euros for the gas but they returned it right after considering that you are returning the car with full tank.Definitely I’m renting again and recommend it for anyone.

Segunda vez que alquilamos, una en Madrid y otra en Barcelona, la primera vez con miedo por algunos comentarios, todo fue perfecto y repetimos, nuevamente perfecto. Muy amable el chico que nos atendió en el aeropuerto de Barcelona en la recogida del coche. Alquila con la tarifa completa y te olvidas de todo, devuelve el depósito como lo encontraste (lleno) y todo irá bien, devolución del dinero del combustible sin problema.

The best car rental company I’ve had experience with so far.Some reviews mention some kind of “scam” if booked through partner websites. I’ve booked through their official website, purchased affordable full insurance and had ZERO issues!On our arrival we managed to find their office effortlessly. Without queuing we were welcomed by their friendly representative. All of the paperwork is digital now, you get a nice PDF summary on your email.All I had to pay was 99 euros as a deposit for the full gas tank (which I got back after returning refueled car).I’ve booked a “better” economy class car (similar to Fiat 500), but got an upgrade to a premium car which was a brand new Peugeot 2008 (with 6k km on the clock) fully loaded with 360° cameras and CarPlay! That was a surprise! (Their fleet gets replaced before every summer season).The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that they forgot to refill windshield washer fluid between rentals which resulted in me having to clean it manually on the gas stations. But that was only a small bearable inconvenience.I definitely recommend this rental office and I will choose them during my next stay in Barcelona.

Es la segunda vez que reservo con ellos, la anterior fue en Málaga, en donde tuve un problema porque me dieron un coche sin bandeja de maletero y se veían las maletas, si volvía a pasar lo mismo no volvería a alquilar con ellos. Pero no , en Barcelona ha ido todo genial, rápidos en la entrega, fácil de coger y entregar, buen precio, con la devolución del depósito del combustible han sido casi 2 días pero a veces es normal. El coche genial, encima diesel que gastaba muy poco. En fin , volveré a alquilar con ellos.

Recogida y devolución rápida. Precio muy bueno. El coche en perfecto estado excepto un pequeño golpe que tenía en la parte trasera que como tenía el seguro a todo riesgo me dijeron q ni me preocupara. Queda pendiente que me hagan la devolución del depósito de gasolina que me dijeron que antes de 10 días estaría.

Had good experience with this company. Very fast and easy semi-automated collection process. The car was higher class with extra features. The only thing I didn't like - the absence of clear instruction with particular car model (basically there were no documents to follow). Drop off was also quite fast and easy
