Much improved service from our visit, table service was very good. They do let themselves down with a number of old worn chairs in the outside space, otherwise a 4 star review.

The Clover Irish Golf Tavern
Inside is a non runner really. It's part of the newly taken over Ona group of hotels, outside seating is where 99.99 of people sit as most nights there is some kind of entertainment, service is good although some nights they are short staffed.Based on the picturesque Mar Menor Golf resort it's worth a visit as all ages are catered for here.

Servicio de mesa pésimo. Tienen tantas mesas que se lían entre ellas. Te traen cosas de otra mesa y se confunden al apuntar.La comida tienes que esperar casi 50 minutos para que la traigan.La cuanta la pedimos 3 veces y al final tuvimos que pagar dentro y por supuesto estaba mal apuntado todo.Hemos estado 10 días asistiendo a los espectáculos de los niños y en prácticamente la totalidad de los días hemos tenido problemas.Pasando un rato allí ves como otras mesas se van quejando también.Es una pena que el servicio sea así, pero es lo que tiene querer abarcar tanto dando igual el servicio que se de. Lo que viene siendo, querer ganar mucho dinero dando servicio pésimo.Los trabajadores pobrecitos. Les toca aguantar el chaparrón de todos, cuando la culpa no es suya.

Tipico Puff ingles dentro del resort. Los cubatas estan bien de precio a 7€. El servicio es atento y gentil, especial mencion para Iñaki que fue superatento y amable en todo momento.

Lovely venue, watching football on giant TV, havnt tried the food but it seems to be finger foods Nachos, wings, chips etc but it was very popular with everyone there. Drinks are reasonably priced, bar staff are very very busy when events like this are on but they do a good job. One of my favourite bars on the resort. The Clover Bar inside is amazing, old world decor, advertising painted on the walls, old bench style cubicles, love it, sadly never took any photos but it's well worth a visit

The Clover Irish Golf Tavern
We were staying at the hotel for the weekend and decided to have some Guinness and light snacks. Walked in at about 8.30pm so the place was quite empty (most guests were probably finishing dinner elsewhere) and we were instantly welcomed by the guy behind bar in white tee. Excellent 5-star service to this same attendant who was taking order, serving drinks and food across multiple tables simultaneously (gradually as the crowd started filling up the place from 9pm onwards) The range of food menu is what you can typically find from an Irish bar. It's been awhile since I had a good stack of Club Sandwich and the portion was huge too! The waiter was also courteous enough to split our sandwich order into two portions when we mentioned we were sharing. Such attention to details and being able to go the extra mile to make us feel comfortable is what makes us want to tip and definitely come back again!
