I highly recommend Álvaro, he is a fantastic Spanish teacher and very patient!! His classes are great fun and he’s well travelled, so you can talk to him about a loads of different things in class. He also speaks English so don’t be scared to ‘phone or email him to book classes. Whether you decide to learn face to face or via zoom he’ll have you speaking Spanish in no time!!

Con ayuda de Álvaro me había preparado para la prueba de C1 de Instituto Cervantes. Me han encantado sus clases, la info es super bien estructurada y clara. Con Alvaro entiendes la diferencia que hay entre quien hace una profesión y quien ama realmente lo que hace. Preparado, curioso, apasionado y, por último pero no menos importante, muy simpático. He trabajado con él con un objetivo que, gracias a su método, ayuda y su estímulo, alcancé.

Álvaro es el mejor profesor de español de Palma, siempre positivo y de buen humor, tambien un profesor que tiene mucho experiencia de muchas cosas, como politicos, peliculas, culturas, hostoria y de gente diferente en todo el mundo. Sabe mucho de unos paises en todo el mundo, porque es un hombre que habia viajado mucho antes volver a Palma y vivir aqui.Yo totalmente puedo recomendar Álvaro para todos los niveles de aprender español. I would highly recommend Álvaro as a teacher. I have been taking classes with him for almost two years and I really like the ambience in the class, the teaching approach and the patience he has. The classes are fun and I have learned so much (grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, etc.). I have had classes in real life as well as online on Zoom since I was not always in Palma. Both online and offline the classes are very good quality and much recommended!! Thank you Álvaro!

Álvaro ist ein toller Lehrer mit viel Geduld, einem guten Humor und sehr viel Freude am Unterrichten, das ist alles sehr motivierend! Ich bin selber viel in Palma, daher kann ich auch seinen Kurs vor Ort auf Mallorca sehr empfehlen!

Alvaro is an excellent Spanish teacher and I highly recommend taking his class which are never boring and go by so quickly. Learning a language doesn’t come easy to me but Alvaro helped me to overcome my frustrations with certain grammar points I just couldn’t master with previous Spanish teachers. But it’s not all grammar with Alvaro, my classes were a good mix of grammar and conversation. Conversation, which is where the magic happens and a vital practice towards Spanish fluency, never feels forced or contrived as with other teachers and this is where Alvaro shines. After a bit of conversation, Alvaro will explain to me some of my mistakes before they become bad habits. Speaking Spanish with friends or going to Intercambios are great, but if you’re serious about learning how to speak Spanish correctly, there’s no better teacher than Alvaro!

My bi-weekly Spanish classes with Álvaro are one of the highlights of my week (and my life is not boring). Álvaro has a wonderful style of teaching with a mix of patience, humour and his knowledge of Spanish grammar and explaining it is fantastic. He is very easy to chat with & because he is from Mallorca you can have some really interesting conversations with him from a locals perspective. I have tried a few Spanish teachers before Álvaro but none of them can compare to how good Álvaro is. I also appreciate how flexible he is with the format of his classes. In addition you choose if want your classes online or in his classroom. I honestlycan´t recommend him highly enough.

Super! Habe erst Gruppenstunden genommen und bin während Covid auf Zoom Einzelstunden umgestiegen. Kann Álvaro nur wärmstes empfehlen! Er ist echt ein Lehrer aus Leidenschaft mit Begeisterung für Sprache. Aber auch fur viele andere Themen, so dass der Unterricht nicht nur effizient sondern auch kurzweilig ist!!

Ich nehmen bereits seit über 2 Jahren Unterricht bei Álvaro. Er unterrichtet mich in Kastellan und seit neustem auch in Katalan Dank seinem Unterricht konnte ich mich schell in meiner neuen Heimat einleben. Er unterrichtet mit sehr viel Geduld und Spass. Er passt sich meinem Tempo ideal an, fördert mich aber auch immer wieder am Ball zu bleiben. Ich kann ihn von ganzem Herzen als Spanischlehrer empfehlen. Gracias por todo!
