Bicing

I would like to share my story with Bicing, which “provides” public bikes. I was a frequent user of bikes. I really enjoyed them. I believe that the city needs more bikes and fewer cars. Unfortunately, my happy usage of public bikes ended a month ago. I was coming back home, and I returned the bike to the station. For the next two days, I was not using the bikes. On the third day, I got an email that my bike was not returned correctly. I was trying to contact the company, but it was not easy since their webpage contact form was not working. After seven days of struggling to contact the company, my account was unblocked. But the bigger surprise arrived. I got a penalty of more than 110 Euros for not returning the bike on time. It is more than double the annual cost of the account. I first believed that it was an error and that after sending an email, it would be sorted out. It turned out that I was wrong. It is a standard penalty for not correctly returning the bike. I just want to stress that the bike was all the time at the station, so nothing happened to it. But Bicing believes that it is a fair price for that. I warn everyone - avoid this fraud service at any cost.
