What an amazing experience.Working for almost 10 years in the rental car industry as a customer service-sales agent, and most of them in Goldcar which is worldwide known for their shady practices, i had my doubts when ordering online such a low price, including full cover.But when the shuttle picked us up and took us yo the office, everything went wonderful from Andrea.She gave me a free upgrade, while i had booked a B category. She gave me a brand new Volkswagen Taigo R line, which costs around 30.000€.She did not push for upselling anything, from extra cover or additional driver fee.Everything was already included to the incredibly low price, only 16€/day.The car was so luxurious and innovative. It even had automatic driving and built in navigation. And it was also automatic transmission.I cannot stress enough our magnificent holiday experience while using this car.The dropoff procedure was so smooth and with not expecting any sad surprises to my credit card.I wish i rented the car for more than 4 days.Thank you Niza cars, thank you Andrea and all the staff was so kind and helpful.You are an exception to the shady rent a car hidden costs and scare tactics to buy cover as i used to do for so many years.

Hi everyone. We arrived yesterday at Barcelona airport and went to pickup our car at Nizacars that we had reserved. After a walk we reached the shuttle that was waiting for us already. The driver of the shuttle was very friendly and helped us with our luggage and answered our few questions about distance etc. When we arrived at the office we were welcomed by an associate named Freddy. Despite us having some problems with the limit of our credit card (the limit wasn’t enough for the deposit) he helped us by explaining how we could still get the car.The positive attitude and service didn’t stop there. He explained every small detail about how to use the car and went beyond by even trying to connect our phone with the car himself.It was one of the smoothest rentals I’ve experienced so far.Special thanks to Freddy. Great Job!!! The company should be proud to have an employee like you.

They charged me 40 euros because the said tank was not full. It was, I filled it up in Barcelona and only used a bit to go to the return area. I am disappointed because I rented before with them and was always happy. I thought they would give a bit of margin to loyal customers. 40 euros is a huge amount for us. They didn't even reply to my email. They lost a client. Bye

Avoid if possible. They are 10miles away, so forget about leaving the keys in the dropbox and stepping into the airport when you return the car. They don’t even open from 10pm to 7am so if your flight leaves early you are out of luck. After paying the full coverage on the web they offer you a 321€ insurance because the one you paid is not from them, is from the booking website. If you refuse they take a hold on your credit card for a minimum of 1800€ just in case they find a scratch on the car when you return it and you didn’t take pictures on pick up. With Hertz, Dollar,Thrift etc… what you pay is what you get and full insured. Avoid nightmares on your vacation.

I had a great experience with Niza Cars, I should say that I did pay the extra to be fully insured, so didn't have to worry about damage to the car, etc. I never used to pay the extra when hiring a car, but the basic rental price here is so cheap, I ended up paying a little over 20 euros a day for a Seat Ibiza fully comp, so why not I thought.The booking process was easy, when I arrived I didn't have to wait and the admin process was all very quick, I got the car that I asked for (maybe that was just good luck, I don't know!) and it was modern, clean etc. They have nice new offices, right outside Mas Blau metro, from the airport you can use their free shuttle service but I was travelling by train so getting here was easy.Drop off was was equally painless, I parked, handed back the keys and that was it.My only singular complaint (if you want to call it that) is their cancellation policy is slightly less flexible than some other places. However, I should add that I ended up asking to amend my pick up / drop off times twice at very short notice and they were super helpful in letting me do that for no extra charge (there was no change to length of booking but it was still extra admin headache for them)So I will definitely use them again and would recommend

Be extremely cautious about where you park your car, even for a minute. The likelihood of having your car window smashed and your luggage stolen in Barcelona is very high. Be extremely vigilant.

I booked a car and bought insurance through an agency. NIZA Cars is the provider. If you choose not to purchase the insurance from NIZA cars, you would have to place EUR1,500 as a security deposit. But when I checked my bank, they held EUR1,600. Very strange. And they do not accept AMEX cards. (The insurance will come into play later. But if you do not have time to read the full review, remember to shoot a video of the entire car, covering both the interior & exterior.)Upon reaching Barcelona airport, we walked to parking lot G and waited for the bus ferry service.We waited for a good 20 minutes. I tried calling all 3 of NIZA's office numbers and there was no answer. But thankfully the van did arrive.Upon reaching, we had to wait for our turn to speak to the staff although we were the only customers. A lady attended to us and my first impression, she was rude and ignorant. We were obviously not European and she's asking what language we speak natively (after I greeted her in English and provided all the documents in English). I told her we are native English speakers and she said she thought we all spoke Chinese. I said she should visit if she enjoys tropical weather and a multiracial country and she immediately replied No thanks" with a look of disgust on her face.I had to fill up a small piece of paper with information like my accommodation details and I provided the hotel name and she asked: “There’s no address?”. There’s no need to be condescending.Aside from that

These guys are great! We have been renting cars with them for about a year and always have been great! Nice clear cars, affordable prices, and friendly stuff. The location is great from the airport, and the minibus is always available to pick you up.

Few years back I already had bad experience with that company. I thought time changes them. But - not same approach. Cheap offer for rent and huge charge for unsuspected damage that I did not do. Scratches under the door handler and old spill for arm rest. 500 Euro charge. Do not use them!

My experiences with Nizacars Barcelona transcended mere disappointment, morphing into an absolute nightmare. It was more than just a tactic to make more money; it was utterly unethical and disrespectful - imagine what it meant to my two years old daughter and wife.Initially, I was told that my American Express card would not be accepted. Considering American Express is a globally recognized credit card company, this made me question Nizacars' approach. However, the true extent of the deception unraveled when they suddenly accepted my card once I agreed to take an expensive additional insurance - I booked the car with a full insurance already over a third party!This blatant manipulation is more than just an unsavory business tactic - it represents a complete disregard for customer transparency and trust. I felt shamelessly exploited, leaving me deeply distressed and angered.We met another young and big family there, arguing with the employees, who wanted to rent two cars - they had to pay more than 700€ more!I can only caution others to steer clear from this company. There are many other car rental businesses out there that uphold honest business practices and treat their customers with the respect they deserve. Please think twice before investing your hard-earned money into a company like Nizacars that subjects its customers to such schemes.
