The English Walking Guide

I highly recommend taking a hike with Jeremy both on a private tour and with a group. His knowledge and experience is exceptional and his enthusaism infectious. I was able to visit places I would never have done on my own and the sense of achievement when completing the walks was great (as were the lunches - still thinking about Es Taller - and Fanta Orange!).

I have done many private tours with many guides in many countries. Jeremy is the BEST guide I have ever had. Why? Because he was a joy to be with--like an instant friend who is interesting and engaging, he anticipates your needs (cold water, rest, refreshments..), he can give lots of info or just give you quiet time to enjoy the scenery, and (unlike many guides), willingly admits if he isn't exactly sure of the answer to your question instead of guessing or making something up. And now for the most amazing story: I lost my passport on the walking tour--the day before my flight (so stupid!). I only realized it when I returned to the hotel so I worked with the concierge to make multiple phone calls to no avail. I sent a message to Jeremy and he REWALKED THE TRAIL at 7am the next morning, stopping at establishments and 3 police stations along the way. I had given up hope and was making arrangements to prolong my stay for at least 3 days to get another passport....when Jeremy called from the last police station. Someone had just phoned the station saying they put the passport in a postal box. Jeremy THEN went to the box with the police officer and waited 2 hours for the postal service to open the box. Meanwhile I was at the airport hoping against hope. Jeremy phoned me 45 minutes before the flight deadline with passport in hand. He PERSONALLY DROVE the 35 minutes to the airport and I made the check-in with only minutes to spare. So, in addition to the excellent guiding attributes I mentioned above, he is an absolutely amazing, tenacious and resourceful person who went out of his way for a stranger. Thank you Jeremy.

What an amazing walk! Jeremy, myself and two friends took the walk up to Penyal Des Migdia and it was stunning!It took us the day, starting gently and gradually getting more taxing and all the way Jeremy was a fantastic guide. I couldn't fault him, always keeping an eye on us, helping one who was not so confident on heights, informing us on the ice houses, local vegetation, views and Jeremy was thoroughly knowledgeable on all the aspects of Mallorca that we wanted to know. He constantly checked the routes, took us slightly different ways if the path was not so great and I never felt anxious or out of my depth on the whole walk.We were even lucky enough to spot the Griffin Vultures and spent time assimilating and absorbing the supreme beauty of them and the natural environment. Thank you so much Jeremy and I recommend him to anybody who wants to talk the path less travelled in Mallorca or the frequently travelled and enjoy the safety and security of walking with such a guide.

I did Puig Galatzo hike last week with Jeremy. It was fantastic .Jeremy is a brilliant informative,caring,and good company guide.He has a great knowledge about all hiking in Mallorca,and gives encouragement when needed-as I found a bit of the scrambling tiring due to a bad back. He is also safety conscious.I am already looking forward to the next hike with him and can highly recommend his company

Jeremy was a fabulous guide, personable, knowledgeable and professional. I had planned to complete a hike on the Archduke Way myself but the maps weren’t clear and I became uncertain. Jeremy’s suggested route for a private guided hike fitted exactly my wishes and capabilities and I could concentrate on the scenery and not have to worry about checking the map. His local knowledge made it all the more interesting and I would definitely join again should the opportunity arise.

I enjoyed a fabulous walk with Jeremy yesterday from Sant Elm to s'Arraco via La Trapa. Challenging enough for an intermediate walker, with stunning landscape and views of the coastline. We saw plenty of wildlife and were treated to an unexpected but quite mesmerising vulture fly-past! Jeremy is an interesting and knowledgeable guide, who clearly makes the effort to plan interesting walks. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back again!!

Jeremy is a superb guide - he is SO knowledgeable about Mallorca and the island’s geology, kind, fun and insures that his travelers are fully enjoying their experience. The hike was great exercise ( he is honest about what to expect on the hike ) , providing magnificent vistas of olive groves, craggy mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. His “fruits of the island” treats and iced water added to this special day. The fantastic day culminated in a truly delicious meal at a local Mallorcan restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean, then a swim in the sea and a boat ride home! I can’t wait to return to the island of Mallorca and hike more with Jeremy !!!! You are in for a special treat hiking with Jeremy !!

We had the pleasure of embarking on a fantastic hike with Jeremy on the Sa Bassa walk in Fornalutx. Throughout the journey, Jeremy proved to be excellent company and demonstrated a wealth of local knowledge. We felt secure under his guidance and would highly recommend his services. We had three walks with Jeremy in early October. He is a very knowledgeable, informative and fun guide to the beautiful Mallorcan high country. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back for more walks with him next year.

I am very late in writing this review…apologies!We visited Soller in September for a week and two of our most enjoyable days were walking with Jeremy and his group. We did two walks, The Archduke Way and Mirador de ses barques to Cala Tuent. Both were absolutely fabulous. Jeremy is great company, is very professional and the whole experience is first class from start to finish. You are in very safe hands and this makes for a super fun and relaxing day. We will definitely go on another walk or two next time we are out in Mallorca!Can’t recommend enough…just book!
