Freixenet

We visited Freixenet Cava for the winery tour on 13/09/2023. Our guide (Ria) was excellent and very informative. We'd recommend the tour and the cava tasting afterwards was also informative and enjoyable. We also stayed to sample some tapas and of course more cava on the terrace. We are a couple from the UK and arrived at the winery by train from Barcelona.

Visita muy divertida e interesante con nuestra guía María, muy profesional y gran conocedora de los cavas y la casa de Freixenet, y que nos contagió de su entusiasmo :) Nos encantó el recorrido y la experiencia de degustación con maridaje de quesos, muy recomendable! Las explicaciones de María fueron muy interesantes, fue muy amable contestando todas nuestras preguntas, y disfrutamos muchísimo de la experiencia. Seguro que repetimos!

Great tour and tasting experience at Freixenet. Our tour guide nailed it: she managed to maintain the attention during the whole tour. She was really well prepared and presented the history of Freixenet in a very entertaining way. The cavas were also exquisite. A must-go place for wine lovers.

Visita a las cavas, muy entretenida al iniciar la visita te ponen un audiovisual con la historia de las cavas, luego visitas distintas zonas donde te explican el proceso y la elaboración del cava, al final de la visita te dan a degustar dos tipos de cava diferentes y si vas con niños les ofrecen uno sin alcohol. La visita es muy amena y esta al lado de la estación de la Renfe Lo recomiendo

Fuimos en grupo a la visita guiada. El lugar es muy bonito por fuera, con su automóvil-botella ideal para las fotos. El recorrido por las bodegas es ameno y completo, con tiempo suficiente. La explicación fue excelente, en cuanto a los vinos y su elaboración y también en los referido a la historia del lugar. Nuestra guía respondía las preguntas con dedicación y se la notaba muy a gusto con lo que hacía. Al final del recorrido degustamos una cava que estaba exquisita. Luego compramos pero sin sentirnos presionados a hacerlo. Nos habría gustado poder degustar alguna otra variedad y que nos empacaran las botellas como para llevarlas en el avión, pero más allá de esos detalles la experiencia fue muy satisfactoria.

Cavas Freixenet, un lugar hermoso para ir a visitar que no te lo debes perder. Te cuentan la historia y recorres la bodega con sus encantos, la misma ha ido creciendo y evolucionando, llegando a ser pionera por su innovación tecnología en el proceso de elaboración del cava sin perder la esencia de lo artesanal. También veras maquinaria de época y miles de botellas. Al finalizar o al llegar, si lo haces con tiempo, puedes disfrutar de la gran terraza degustando una copa y una tabla de lo que quieras, tienen una barra. La atención del personal de primera. Lo recomiendo. Volvería a repetir experiencia.
