We ate a spectacular dinner at El Romero tonight. Food, wines and service were all exceptional. Very refined and creative cuisine of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

The place is nice and have a elegant and cool atmosphere, relaxing and chilled. Perfect environment to enjoy the conversation at the table. The food is just so-so. My monkfish was slightly undercooked, bland and the side was so simple and not well-thought (4/10), the octopus was really good and well served (7.5/10), the mackerel was salty (5.5/10) and the starter (gazpacho) was good but lacked visual preparation (6/10). The services was okay, but the owner charged us 4.5 euros for tap water (claiming they have a filtering system), but it is tap water in the end and Mahon’s tap water is not drinkable, and she argued with us quite rudely, which was wrong and extremely unprofessional because it was our feedback. The wine menu lacks some quality and it is overprice for the below average wines they have. The presentation of the dishes was nice, and the desert was good too.

Ambient of the place is beautiful, restaurant host very kind and professional, food presentation by the waitresses was really kind and lovely. But the winner of it all was the taste of a food. We have enjoyed eating at this restaurant soooo much. If you are looking for a tasteful meal that you will remember, this is the place to go.

Beautiful evening at El Romero in Mahon. The squid and tomato starter was so tender and the local Scorpion fish was equally fabulous. The staff are friendly, discrete and very helpful and helped us choose the gorgeus local wine. Highly recommend and hope to be back again.

100% recomendable si eres celiaco. Explican muy bien los platos y el trato es súper amable!La carta es variada y los postres también buenisimos.Precio (a mi parecer) un poco excesivo teniendo en cuenta la cantidad por plato, pero tienen buen género.

Un espectáculo. Probamos todos los platos vegetarianos y la degustación de pan. SuperkorLa comida está increíble, tanto el sabor, la calidad y la presentación. El local es precioso y el ambiente perfecto, con música suave y su personal atento.

Buen sitio para comer o cenar. Cocina moderna. Carta no muy amplia pero suficiente. Imprescindible probar el arroz negro (no lleva tinta, es una variedad italiana) con un punto crujiente espectacular. Para repetir.

Si eres celíaco, es un sitio imprescindible a visitar en Mahón, Menorca. Tienen cocina con productos de proximidad. Baratico no es, pero es una delicia para el paladar. El local es muy acogedor y muy bien decorado. Los camareros / dueños son muy amables y majicos.
