My husband and I wanted to find a restaurant near the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum after leaving the Prado. I wanted to go here because I missed Indian food and they have a menu of the day for €14.50.We arrived around 2 pm and the restaurant was full but we only had a short wait for a table. This is definitely not a tourist restaurant which is good. The menu of the day includes 2 courses, naan, beverage, dessert, and either coffee or tea.The selection for the courses differs depending on the day of the week. We were there on a Tuesday and chose the chicken samosa and pakora as our first course. This came with a variety of chutneys, I recognized the tamarind and mint cilantro chutneys but the others were unfamiliar. The chicken samosa was tasty, the pakora was very different from what we have in the US but tasted fine. For our second course, we ordered the chicken curry. This also included rice. We both liked the flavor of the curry. My husband had a beer and I had a glass of red wine. For dessert, you could select an Indian dessert like gulab jamun or kheer or a western-style dessert. We chose the chocolate cake and also had tea. I thought we had ordered chai tea but it was mint flavored which was strange. This was a delicious lunch and a great value.

Otro clásico de Madrid, y detras justo del congreso.Muy atentos y serviciales, la comida toda en su punto.Si te gusta la comida india, te lo recomiendo totalmente.Y eso que yo no como nada con picante.

La atención de los camareros es excelente.Los productos bien pero podían poner un pan de lentejas por persona ya que se queda corto uno para cada dos.Los puntos de picante muy bien conseguidos, pero el pan de naan de queso muy mal, no va relleno de queso sino con un poco de rallado por encima y pierde todo el encanto de algo que debería ser muy bueno.

We discovered a gem of an authentic Indian restaurant walking distance from El Centro. When we entered, we were consumed with the fragrant aromas of cumin, turmeric, Garam masala, cardamom, and garlic.In short, the cuisine was amazing. But the service and kindness was equal to the cuisine.We even sent photos to our Indian friends in Jaipur.Highly recommend!

Comida India. La sopa de lentejas estaba mala. Se lo indicamos al mesero y estaba ofendido. El Lamb Mushroom estaba bueno y la pasada chicken estaba aceptable. Luego la vibra con los meseros hablando en su idioma no era buena.

La comida exquisita, sabores muy cuidados y auténticos. El sitio es muy agradable. Lo único que no me gustó es que el responsable del comedor llamara la atención y le arrebatara la comanda al camarero que por lo visto era nuevo y estaba aprendiendo.

Un clásico, lleva muchísimos años haciendo buena cocina india.Buena atención, te ayudan en la elección y en la cantidad y a precio razonable.Un detalle importante, si pedís vino, dejar muy claro el que queréis, por si os ponen el más caro y os cuesta la mitad de la cuenta.

No está mal, aunque hay restaurantes hindús mucho mejores en Madrid. Fuimos a comer 4 adultos y 1 niño, y salimos a 25€ cada uno (sin contar al niño), por lo que por ese precio está bien. Si estás por la zona y se te antoja comida hindú, puede ser una posibilidad. Las cantidades son abundantes.
