Mountain View Luxury Boarding Kennels/Cattery and Pet Villa

Fantastic kennels with owners who have been operating for nearly twenty Years, who offer a safe and fun place for our beloved pets. Our baby has just spent over a week in their care whilst we were abroad, they sent updates and even a picture to reassure us of his wellbeing.Will now be using this treasured place to give him play days, and further holidays.Highly recommend for other pet owners.

We needed availability with very short notice and Gill was able to oblige. On arrival we found some of the kennels requirements were not up to date but Gill was also able to remedy this. First time we used kennels for our boy and the pet villa was the perfect solution.

I brought my dog Masai to Mountain view after finding out she had been neglected staying elsewhere when I was in England. When I saw her she had a bad case of mites with bald patches and sore skin. Mountain view was highly recommended by the vet and so Masai stayed with them for 3 months when I went back to England. When I came back to see my dog she looked completely different, her black coat had grown back & was shining, she was a healthy weight, and she had built up visible muscle. Just by looking at her you could see how much Gill & Tony looks after and goes the extra mile for the dogs. Masai also needed to be administered antibiotics daily for two weeks and her prescribed shampoo once a week for her skin which was no problem for them to do. It was also very much appreciated to get regular photos/video updates with her looking happy & healthy! When Masai went in she was nervous being in a new environment, but Gill has helped her come out of her shell and become a more confident dog. Gill was also very helpful in recommending a transport service to transport Masai to London, and taking her to the vet to have deworming ect before travel. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found Mountain view and highly recommend them!

After loads of hassle to get my four cats into Mountain View whilst I went on holiday, I left them to be cared for. When I got back from holiday I arranged to pick them up between 4 an 5pm. I got there 10 minutes early, rang to let me in and was kept waiting until 4. When I was let in I was horrified to see the way my cats reacted to her and me. Hissing, spitting and cowering. All I wanted was to get them out of there as fast as possible, which wasn't easy when they were so frightened and traumatized. My 3 legged special needs cat wouldn't walk! He has needed to be encouraged to exercise again. All of them have lost weight and have done nothing but eat since returning.Personally one star is far too much and I would never put my kids through that again. Not recommended at all.

We chose Mountain View based on their reviews. However business like they may be but upon collecting my five ginger kids I was horrified to see them traumatised with changed personalities! Having had them home for a week they have done nothing but eat. They are clingy and are having nightmares. We have used other catteries in the past and this never happened before!Would not recommend!

I can not recommend Mountain View highly enough. My 3 fur babies had an amazing time in their own luxury dog villa. They were very well looked after. Gill sent me daily updates which was so reassuring. Thank you so much guys, absolutely top rated service

I just want to put a massive shout out to Gill and Tony and their team at Mountain View. Thank you so much for the love and care you've given our Poppy and Kessie over the past year we have been living in Spain. Most of all for the care you gave our Kessie over Christmas after just loosing her Mum Poppy. We were so worried about going to the UK and leaving her but you reassured us and loved our daily updates, putting our minds at rest. Kessie was so excited go in to see you again and I always love they want to go and give you both a fuss before we leave. Mountain View looked after our two mini Dachshunds really well. Had them in the paddling pool, sent us videos and updates with photos on a regular basis, and the dogs looked really healthy when we picked them up after there 4 week stay. Thanks, Gill & her team.
