Motel One Madrid - Plaza de España
The place is perfect. Right behind the square with access to Metro. The price was nice. The breakfast was not included in the price and it was 13 euros (too much for a breakfast). So please have it in your mind. Also the free wifi was not always stable and fast enough. There is also a paid version of the WiFi, but i do not like to pay for an internet connection. But in general it was a nice experience.

Muy buena ubicacion, servicio de habitaciones cuidado, buena limpieza y cambios de toallas perfectos. Lo que le falta son detalles, vasos de papel en el baño es poco comun o no tener bebida en el minibar, o una tetera co infusiones en la habitacion es ya muy comun en hoteles de 4estrellas

The location was excellent plenty of places to eat. Staff 10/10 room was comfortable to be honest I did miss a kettle for a wee coffee ☕️ in the morningbut having a fridge made up for this. Definitely stay hear again

Excelente hotel en el centro de Madrid, junto a la Gran Vía. El personal es muy amable. Las habitaciones son amplias, bonitas, muy limpias y con una cama y almohadas súper cómodas. No se escuchaba nada del exterior a pesar de que en la zona había mucho ambiente y nuestra habitación daba a la calle. Un descubrimiento para cuando volvamos a Madrid. Próximo a varias paradas de metro.

The staff and the location are the two very good things of this hotel. The hotel is located a few steps away from plaza de españa and from the Royal Palace. All the main attractions can be easily reached from the hotel but this is by no means a 4 star hotel. Rooms are not properly cleaned, too hot and there is no complimentary water. It is overpriced and not worthy the money in my opinion.

Una maravilla de hotel. Si mantienen precios sin duda será la primera opción cuando viajemos a la capital.Habitaciones amplias, muy limpias y cómodas. Personal super amable e inmejorable situación.Nos encantó la posibilidad de tomar algo en su bar.

EUR 220 per night (in October) and not even a kettle/coffee in the room or breakfast included. Room quite a small size and the view was of a flat wall very close.There are probably cheaper options for what amounted to only really a bed, TV and bathroom

Mis amigos y yo llevamos viniendo cada semana durante años a tomar café antes del cine y a veces a tomar unas copas después.Cuál ha sido mi sorpresa que después de varios meses hemos pedido café y es de la peor calidad que he probado en mi vida cuando antes perteneciendo a la cadena Mercure era un café excelenteTambién los confortables asientos que había por todo el bar han desaparecido y solo han dejado unos cuantos en la entradaSolo se salva el servicio, que sigue siendo amable y profesionalUna pena

Good hotel for solo travellers but for couple the room is not big enough. Again it’s Motel One known for business set up. Ideal location for tourists. Just 500 mts away from Gran Via and to the main shopping street. Breakfast is good with dietary options. Also, during peak seasons it’s very expensive and not worth the money you spend. Over all I recommend if you are looking at 2-3night stay here. There are plenty of restaurants around to choose from. Front staff are friendly!

Such a good hotel! And the breakfast was very good.Very clean. The bed was big and comfortable with four pillows and soft sheets. The bathroom big with really good towels. And I appreciated the magnifying mirror. The staff was accomodating and friendly.Very central location but in a quite side street. Busses and metro just round the corner. A short walk to Gran Vía. Restaurants and bars very near. Cinemas and cultural center within walking distance.And now you think this sounds expensive. It wasn't!
