My experience at this dentist has been very mixed. Their expertise and equipment is adequate for a basic filling but not for any complex or cosmetic procedures. I had a crown fitted and I was given insufficient information and explanation of the procedure during the treatment and I felt the process was rushed and there was a lack of attention. During the final fitting the staff seemed more concerned with their roof leaks than my treatment.During all my treatments at Swedent I have felt concerned that the dentist 's attention was distracted from her work by the constant inconsequential conversation with the assistant. It is difficult to see how her concentration could fail to be affected by the non stop talking of her assistant. At the very least it is very concerning to patients.There was decay in the tooth next to the crown which was not spotted at the time of the crown fitting and this started to cause pain a few weeks later. I returned to the dentist who said a further filling was required which was done but this left me in excruciating pain. I went back to the dentist the following day and I was seen in the reception area by the assistant and receptionist. With the aid some graphic sign language I was told me that the pain was normal and to see what happened in a few days. The pain became unbearable and I went to a different dentist who saw that the filling was incomplete and that a root canal was necessary. I cannot explain adequately the difference in my treatment at the second dentists. The X-rays were shown to me and the treatment options were discussed with me being fully involved in the consultation. I opted for root canal treatment and I have been fully satisfied with the treatment and result.I also had my teeth cleaned and polished at Swedent and I made 2 visits as the hygienist did not complete the work in one visit but was charged 120 euros - twice the quoted price for the procedure. I should have queried this at the time but only after returning home started wondering why I had been charged twice for the same procedure.All in all I think there are dentists offering better treatment for the same price within walking distance.

I recently went and enquired about a dentist clean check up. I was quoted 95 euros.. halfway through appointment the hygienist said she'd only do the bottom jaw and do the top half another day. So assuming it was a follow-up and completion of the first appointment.. but was told I needed to pay another 70 euros.. the work was very good but I'm so angry about the cost so I cancelled.. I enquired at another dentist after i explained my situation would charge me 25 euros to clean the top and said that my first experience was not good practice

Kind and professional care. The crown they made looked like my natural teeth and nobody could tell the difference.

Good dentist, knows what she does. She explained so many misconceptions to me and I learned a lot during my visit. I have always had issues with decay and acid reflux and she told me that could be the trigger!! Nobody had warned me about that before.I felt so cared for and that she really cared.5 out of 5 stars would recommend!!!

A good dentist can be hard to find, so finding swedent has saved me the misery of a bad job. Recommended to me by friends, and I am happy to do the same.

I had various work carried out at Swedent recently. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Monika is a first class dentist and very informative. I couldn't be more pleased about the treatment and service I received. Many thanks Guys I wouldn't consider using any other dental practice in the future.

I would give 0 stars if that was possible. I did not want to believe the negative reviews I was reading before I booked my appointment with Monika, and I wish I did ! Beware of worn out tools and very poor hygiene. I have no words! Monika is unpleasant, rude, gives you an appointment and then takes someone from a ''street'' right before your eyes making you wait at least 30 minutes longer. Terrible customer service and unwillingness to admit own mistakes and at least apologise. I went to Monika to get a second opnion and she gave me a totally diffrent diagnosis and treatment options than the first dental clinic I went to. When I came for the actual visit she realised she was actually wrong, and before I realised she had already started extracting my tooth in an almost barbarian way. When I went to her 10 days later and complained about a pain she ensured me it's normal to have a pain for 2-3 more weeks as the gum after tooth extraction is healing. She also badly adjusted a crown on my tooth (far too high) which caused further complications, some damage to the surface of the tooth above and huge discomfort. I didn't know the crown was so high when I was at her office because she put a cotton in my mouth which I could only spit out once I reached my airbnb. I could not go back to her office the same day as we were leaving Torrevieja. And honestly I would not want to enter her office ever again. Few days later I went to another dentist in Poland, they took a proper 3D picture where all the bad work was shown: a chunk of broken root after the extraction , badly adjusted crown showing how the edges do not cover the entire tooth. I sent a polite email to Monika with the picture attached, where I also told her about the pain and discomfort I had to endure for many days. But she denied everything, even when I provided more photos and explanations from a very good dentist- surgeon. Both my husband and I could not believe her replies , rudness and poor work ethics. To make me sound like I am insane she offered a refund but she never send the money back, and that was 120 euros. Not a big sum for a dentist but I had to pay almost exactly 120 euros to get the broken root removed by another dentist. I never wrote a bad review for any dentist because I never had to. Everybody makes mistakes but Monika won't admit she makes any. And her mistakes made me pay a lot of money later on.

Couldn’t get an appointment In UK for 6 months having not been for a long time, needed a crown fixed.appointment made here Seen the next day; very happy with the treatment and will be coming here from now on when visiting family.
