Tremenda experiencia tanto culinaria como de hospitalidad. Calidez humana, buenas y bonitas instalaciones, excelente comida (y fresca), de variedad y porciones grandes. El trato de los dueños insuperable. 100% recomendado para los peregrinos haciendo el Camino de Santiago y para los turistas en general. Muchas gracias Juan por todo!

Juan es una persona magnífica, nos trató desde el minuto 1 como si fuésemos de la familia. Trato cercano, hospitalario, amable... Me pasaría el día entero poniendo adjetivos buenos. Respecto a la habitación súper amplia y el baño grande también. Fuimos en pareja para conocer Villafranca del Bierzo y os digo que muy recomendable.

Very kind host who gave a great recommendation for dinner. His mom makes most of it herself- she is the head chef! Lovely family run spot. Everything was super clean and one of the best values on the Camino in terms of what you get. Would definitely stay again

There were adequate accommodations for an albergue. The provided fluffy comforters and real sheets were a very nice added touch. The A/C mentioned on here was not on so it was a bit toasty as the girl sleeping closest to the window shut the only door that could provide ventilation... The laundry area was a bit lacking as well as far hand washing options and drying racks. HOWEVER for the price and for the host, Juan, alone it is worth your stay. He shook our hands and welcomed us, something not common in the past month of stays. He seems to genuinely enjoy his work. He was also our server for dinner and it was probably one of the most memorable dinner experiences. All set backs aside, I would highly recommend you stay here.

Thank you Juan and family!! An oasis on the Camino! Lovely, clean and modern facilities. A fantastic deal at €15. Feels like a hotel! We were welcomed so warmly and you can tell that Juan works so hard to make everyone feel at home. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Stay here if you can! Best Albergue I hit on the Camino. Was so nice to have an actual bed with actual sheets for hostel money! The owner was so nice too and helped us out with everything. Pilgrims dinner was nice too! Good wine :)

This family owned establishment is an oasis on the Camino. Juan is genuinely kind and goes out of his way to make sure you feel at home.The room is clean, the beds super comfortable, and the terrace lovely. The washing machine works well.The best part is the dinner. I ate there and the home cooked food was fresh and delicious. I asked Juan to pair local wines with my food and dessert. It was magnificent!!I hope to come back again and spend at least 2 nights.

A lovely place to stay, so we’ll set up 10 single beds with bedside tables, lights and your own powerpoint. Very clean and hot showers. The hosts are lovely!

Un lugar genial para descansar durante el camino. Atención inmejorable, el responsable del hotel ha estado siempre pendiente de nosotros...El restaurante perfecto, hemos comido y cenado de maravilla.Nos han hecho sentir como en casa... gracias

Sin duda una joya en Villafranca del Bierzo. Juan, su dueño, es una gran persona que cuida los detalles y hospitalario. Es un albergue pero te harán sentir como en un hotel de 5 estrellas. Tiene una gran terraza donde poder disfrutar. Las camas son muy cómodas y cuentan con sábanas y edredón.En resumen, si buscas un lugar donde recuperarte después de una dura etapa del Camino éste es tu sitio.
