SIXT - Girona Aeropuerto

Muy mala experiencia con esta empresa, primero te alquilan carros llenos de daños y en mal estado y luego quieren cobrarte esos daños a ti. Adicional, anotan en las facturas horas diferentes de entrega y recogida y luego te cobran días adicionales sin avisarte ni conciliar y se niegan a pesar de tener pruebas a eliminarte esos cobros.En conclusión, nefasta experiencia.

Great rental company, friendly people and very clear explanations. Nice fleet of cars. Just outside of the airport, a 2 min. walk, go left when you leave the building and you will see it at your right hand when you have passed the parking garage. When returning the car, it takes them quite a while when you drop off the car (out of opening hours) to confirm all is okay, they took 4 days for that, somewhat strange but no big issue.

The Sixt experience in Girona was quite positive. I picked up the car in 10min, note that i was the only client that morning {30th Oct 2023}at 10 am. The staf was explaining friendly the options that i had booked and informed me about the rest of the options i could have add on top of the booked offer. After asking the final price {which was equal with the price i have got when booking online} i have signed and i received the keys of the compact car which i booked. The car was a 2023 Skoda Fabia, clean with 7k km on board. Perfect for Barcelona's narrow streets, and for my small familly. The drop off was done in less than 10 min and all went smooth and quiq. I read many bad reviews about sixt servicies but this one was quite obove my expectation.

Fantastic experience with Sixt Girona Airport. Friendly, respectful staff and also very professional especially staff member Ferran :), who really helped us with explaining the procedure when we just arrived at Girona Airport and gave us good advice where to go during our 8-day stay in Granollers/Barcelona.We were very fortunate as we did receive an almost new car (with only ca. 700km) Seat Ibiza, with plenty of space and power to drive to all the places and areas, especially in the hills/mountains around Barcelona and in the surrounding area in the north-eastern part of Spain. We went to Barcelona Beach with the car, surrounding hills, the Barcelona Cable car and also went to see beautiful parks, majestic cathedrals, modern shopping centers, etc. As the car was mid-size, we were able to park in all (sometimes rather small) parking garages/spaces in Barcelona town without any problem.Overall indeed a very satisfactory and enjoyable experience with Sixt Girona Airport. Thank you for the excellent service and experience!

I have to say don't waste your time on anything else, especially Europecar. If you value excellent service - at least in Spain Sixt is the place to go. The guys at Girona Airport are great, the cars are fresh and in top notch condition, there is really not much more to ask for. Good job!

Alquilamos en Sixt el mes de setiembre. Fue sin duda una grata experiencia.El personal super atento, el día de recogida tuve un problema y al ser ya casi la hora de cierre no pude recoger el coche, pude recogerlo al día siguiente sin ningún problema. Las 2 chicas super amables. Con el pago tuve un pequeño problema, por error se cobró dos veces el alquiler pero lo solucionaron enseguida.Reservamos un modelo de coche y nuestra sorpresa fue que nos dieron un coche de categoría superior automático, una delicia conducir, incluso el color perfecto. Referente al coche, completamente nuevo, apenas tenía 3000km, tanto interior como exterior perfecto. Tanto la recogida como la entrega fueron trámites rápidos.Aunque sea un poco más caro que otras compañías, lo vale, tanto por el personal, la facilidad de contactar con ellos, la flota de coches que disponen,... Reservaremos con ellos otra vez sin dudarlo.

Great quality vehicles, you might save a couple euro going to somewhere else -- but you definitely get what you pay for at Sixt or better.

Alquilamos un coche por 4 días.El coche la verdad iba muy bien, el cristal de delante estaba muy sucio, tuvimos que comprar toallitas limpiacristales porque para conducir con el sol de cara no veíamos nada.La carrocería tenía un par de ralladas en la zona del maletero, pero con el seguro con todo incluido" supuestamente no te cobran nada porque queda todo cubierto.Si que es verdad que estaría bien recibir algun descuento

The experience with sixt was great from beginning to end. They offer shuttle service from the airport to the office and back. The lady at the counter was lovely and very helpful, the paperwork was quick and easy and it was refreshing that even though she offered the full cover she wasn't pushy about it when we explained we had our own. She drove the car to the entrance and left us to double check everything looked right. The car was in great condition and it was almost brand new, we loved it and the quality/price balance was great.We will definitely be using this service again as we travel there at least twice a year.
