Keela Yoga Farm

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Keela Yoga Farm in September 2023 for the Yoga Retreat. The setting is quite magnificent and a real credit to the work that Lawrence and Kimberly have undertaken in the last few years. The yoga retreat was ideal for me. There were a couple of yoga classes every day and I unexpectedly ended up going to every single one. All the activities are optional, so it is possible for people attending to opt out of any activity if they wish. This prevents the holiday becoming too intensive and I think the balance between activities and personal downtime is close to perfect. I certainly felt very different after spending a week there.There is also a wonderful community at and around Keela Yoga Farm. The interaction between the volunteers and the paying guests was quite magnificent. The volunteers performed tremendous work, producing a range of splendid meals, preparing for workshops and carrying out duties on the farm. Some of the conversations between different people at Keela in September were inspirational. The retreat provides a wonderful facility for people to work on their yoga and feel all the other health benefits of the inspirational community and off-grid living. Kimberly took all the yoga classes, and she is a fantastic teacher, being gently and kindly aware of the needs of the different students, who ranged from qualified yoga teachers to enthusiastic novices. I hope to return for more relaxation, inspiration and adventure in 2024.

2.5 on my experience to be adequate. The concept is great but the realization far away yet. It was mixing experience to me: on one hand, really challenging and on another hand, so delightful in certain moments. So, we`ve achieved the golden middle, I think.Like life, step by step. Being open-minded, positive, learning, sharing. I truly wish them further development and success! I believe, everyone can help something (onsite or offsite).

Wholeheartedly recommend Keela Yoga Farm, if you want to learn more about permaculture, living off grid, and be surrounded by stunning landscapes and nature you should go, and there is yoga too on a yoga deck with an awesome view! I had a wonderful time during the August permaculture internship, met great friends, leant and got involved in eco building, and much more. Food was awesome too. Laurence and Kimberley’s kindness and knowledge in sharing their beautiful off grid farm was inspiring. It’s a beautiful place and I look forward to visiting again

Loved my time at Keela Yoga farm, I met great people and the permaculture internship was an amazing learning curve, really hands on and practical and experienced how all the elements of a permaculture farm work together. Laurence is super knowledgable and shared a lot with us. And the yoga classes and fermenting workshops with Kimberley were so nice. Also learnt how to make soap with Laurence! They are really living the off grid life and the project is really exciting to have been part of.

Located in a beautiful and quiet spot, Keela Yoga Farm is a perfect place to retreat for a while from the busy life. Kimberly and Laurence are lovely people. I loved the idea of being supplied with (local) ingredients for cooking your own food and felt completely at ease doing my thing.Highly recommended for those looking for some peace and quiet and simple, yet rich and comfortable life for a while. I hope to go visit there again!

Laurence and Kimberley have created the most incredible place. We did our PDC at Keela, had a wonderful group of people, learnt a lot, had the most incredible food and such an experience. They have a really pro setup that will leave you inspired. We’ll be back soon to learn more

My girlfriend and I stayed for two weeks at Keela Yoga Farm for the springtime Permaculture Design Course (2023) and the experience was amazing. The learning experience, the energy, the friendliness, the farm, the organization and the other participants were all outstanding. I highly recommend a stay at Keela Yoga Farm. Special thanks to Laurence, Kimberley, Tom and the entire team of volunteers and interns for making it an experience to remember and to build upon in the future.

Awesome place! I’ve been here for both the permaculture course and the natural building course and both were loaded with insight, info and hands on skill development; building on and helping with real projects on the farm.Laurence and Kimberly are great people, and experienced, knowledgeable, great teachers. They’re a lot of fun also, make you feel very welcome and make sure you’re in the loop with the activities in the area and community, so you’ll feel very inclusive.Combined with lots of nature, meditation, yoga - (the occasional beer and pizza party) - a very fun, educational and relaxed experience! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed very much our stay at Keela Yoga Farm. The surrounding is peaceful and quiet , the hosts are very friendly and the accommodation is simple but satisfying.
