Villa Separate reviewMy family have just returned home from staying in Villa Separate in Mojacar, and I thought I would share with you our extraordinarily terrible experiences in this property. I brought family to Mojacar for our wedding celebrations, and to spend time together. We saved hard and spent over €3000 on the Villa only to find, what should have been a wonderful experience, full joyous memories tainted by countless problems.After raising complaints with D&D Property Care, Rentals & Sales in Mojacar, I was simply dismissed, in fact I was accused of breaking the terms of my Holiday Letting Contract, which was quite perplexing, as we never received or signed a contract despite it be required in Spanish Law. Anyway, here is a substantial list of the problems we were forced to endure in our week.Downstairs apartment.1. Broken fridge freezer, no ice, and a hot fridge.2. Broken and leaking sink with stagnant water below3. Unusable kitchen oven and hob, constant power trips.4. Air conditioning tripping electric supply5. Dirty and mouldy showers downstairsUpstairs apartment1. Mouldy smelly hot tub even after I purchased my own chlorine tablets2. Open live electrical fittings in bedroom3. Missing lampshades in bedroom4. Air conditioners, lights, appliances tripping electrics for whole property5. Dishwasher not installed correctly, so fell out of base unit every time it was opened. This was a very heavy piece of equipment when loaded and quite dangerous.6. Could not lock the patio doors onto balcony.7. Mouldy growing around bath and bathroom window.8. Black mould coming out of the whirlpool bath fittings when using shower.9. Whirlpool bath not working.General faults1. Insufficient keys (only one set) for 10 people, forced leave property unsecured2. No welcome / information pack available. (In fact I am still waiting for someone to ask where the keys have been left upon our departure)3. Insufficient seating / for 10 people to eat meals together (whole point of holiday, being together)4. Dirty (very cloudy) and damaged (missing tiles on steps, with very sharp edges leading to cut feet in swimming pool.5. Trying to cook meals was extremely difficult and challenging, while be forced to manage the electric supply.6. I was forced to reset the outside master breaker trip switch 3 to 4 times a day, and finally used a broom to forcibly stop the trip switch from cutting off the supplies. Clearly this property is under powered. When you book a villa for 10 people all 10 should be able to use the advertised facilities, and not spend each day sharing, or deciding who can and cannot use what electrical supply!7. TV upstairs completely unusable as no English channels availability, and only pirated/illegal TV channels available downstairs. (local authorities informed)Mojacar is a beautiful town, but renting your holiday home through D&D Property Care, Rentals & Sales should be avoided if you want to relax in safe surroundings, with fully working facilities, and your holiday letting complies with Spanish rental law.I am very happy to discuss my experiences with anybody planning to use D&D Property Care, Rentals & Sales.

Booked property ref DD085 through Dean from Saturday 8th to Monday 17th October 2022. Upon arrival was shown around a lovely apartment that had been well cleaned. We had booked this apartment for the terrace, UK TV, wifi and a BBQ. The BBQ was not connected and full of rust and the TV and wifi didn't work. So made several attempts to contact Dean via phone and text, but no reply. Tried again all Sunday but had no reply, so 11am Monday went to the office which was closed. My wife then phoned Dean off her phone and he answered straight away, coming to the apartment 15 mins later. He admitted the BBQ didn't work but arranged for an engineer to attend 9am Tuesday, but we would have to wait in because he didn't have another set of keys. We waited until 11.30am then contacted Dean to inform him no one had arrived. Dean contacted us at 1.45pm to say engineer on his way, 15 mins later he arrived and spent 2 hours fixing TV and wifi. We put them on later that night but neither were working, we contacted Dean who said he'd come up between 9.30am and 10am the following day, we waited in and at 10.30am called but he said he was on another job and would be there at 1.00pm. He never turned up and we never heard from him again.Feel robbed that we paid for services we didn't receive.Would never use this company again.

Fuimos a pedir información sobre sus servicios (en concreto para gestionar un apartamento turístico en Mojácar Pueblo) y en ese momento no nos pudieron atender porque la persona que estaba en la oficina no hablaba español, aunque conseguimos concretar de qué se trataba con nuestro mal inglés. Dejamos nuestros datos de contacto (teléfono y mail) y nos indicaron que nos llamaría ese mismo día otra persona de la empresa para quedar para ir a ver el apartamento. No nos llamaron ni ese día ni al siguiente, así que les enviamos un correo con nuestras consultas pues entendimos que tenían mucho trabajo. Pues bien: nadie ha respondido a ese correo. Así que estamos muy decepcionados y sorprendidos por su total falta de interés. El apartamento lo estamos gestionando nosotros directamente y ya tenemos bastantes reservas. Una pena
