Las instalaciones son pésimas, sin calefacción ni aire acondicionado. Me atendieron con muy mala actitud y el rabino me insultó.No lo recomiendo nada.

Para lo que cobran por pasar, no merece la pena

Estuvimos de viaje en Madrid, teníamos curiosidad para ver la sinagoga pero nos la encontramos cerrada,al llamar nos dijeron que no admitían visitas. Una lástima porque habíamos visto reseñas donde comentaban que se podía visitar.

Muy buena gente, lindos espacios, el templo es sencillo además de ortodoxo (hombres abajo, mujeres arriba) pero nada de pelucas ni de peies (patillas largas). Nos invitaron a cenar ya que era Rosh Jodesh (empezaba un mes) y había visitas. La pasamos muy bien. Gracias !!

We wanted to visit. We approached the main door as people were coming in and the young man at the door was extremely RUDE. We wanted to see the synagogue and the sukkah and were refused entry. We are American Jews living in Spain and wanted connection with our Jewish community. In an age of increased anti-semitism, it is discourging and shameful that we cannot be kind to our fellow Jews. Chag Sameach, happy sukkot and a sweet new year regardless of how you treated us.

Extremely rigorous security interrogation to get in, must bring passport and answer many personal questions about one's faith. That being said, once in, the service was nice and everyone at the shabbat dinner was very welcoming and the food was delicious.

I came on the evening of Yom Kippur. I managed to get in for Kol Nidre, even though apparently they had sold seats, which surprised me, because I thought that was only in America. But when I came back the next day the security detail said only people who had paid could come in. The evening before the rabbi had asked everyone to come in the morning to make sure there was a minyan all day long. So I don't know where the problem came from. But it was the most disgraceful thing I have ever experienced in a shul. I went to Jerba (in Tunisia) one year and had no problem getting in for the whole service. This kind of stuff makes Jews look bad and is against Judaism. So I guess they are working on their sins for next year.

He estado hoy por primera vez dentro. Aunque solo me han hecho preguntas y he rellenado un formulario. He sentido tanta emoción que me he bloqueado. Espero volver. Soy descendiente de sefarditas eso es algo que mi corazón y el Eterno me ha conducido hasta dar el paso. Pertenezco al pueblo elegido y deseo ser reconocida en esta comunidad judía. Shalom Alejem
