Pure Mountains

4 Amazing days of cycling through the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. The single track downhills were varied, seriously challenging and beautiful. Tim and Jenny were amazing hosts and guides. They challenged us all and kept us safe throughout. They even mended all of our broken bikes! What an amazing place. I hope to be back again next year.

A fantastic experience combining some challenging climbs more than rewarded with a variety of long descents. Jenny, Tim and the support crew are wonderful hosts and have everything thought out and planned. They’ll keep you well fuelled with delicious food too.All you have to do is ride your bike and enjoy yourself. If you can’t enjoy yourself here then there’s something seriously wrong with you……Do yourself a favour and book now!

Thank you Jenny and Tim.Our short week stay with you was perfect.From the welcome drink at the bar the evening we arrived where we met the others staying with you to our last evening, you made us feel welcome and part of the group, as did your friendly cats and dogs.Our room was spotlessly clean and a quiet place to rest after riding.Breakfast was excellent, taken outside with a wonderful view, as too were the evening meals, they were super.The trails you took us on were fabulous, especially the last day when we rode along the dried up river.Our lunch time stops were tasty and filling and in wonderful places, and thank you again for catering for a vegan.Your home is set in beautiful mountains, in total peace and quiet, we marvelled at looking at the Milky Way in the evenings.I look forward to visiting you again.

An excellent four days mountain biking with Pure Mountains in October. Jenny and Tim are fantastic guides and absolutely lovely people. From the farmhouse in the hills, to the network of people they have developed, what a truly commendable operation! Picnics mid ride and doggos waiting for us by the fire! What more could we ask for? The riding in the area is fantastic, there seems to be something for everyone. My only wish is that we had managed to get up to xylophone, but even Jenny and Tim can't control the weather! Fear not, there are still plenty of hills to ride up and down whatever the weather, and it just means that I'll have to come back for more riding!

Pure Mountains has been on my bucket list of to-do trips for a few years and didn’t disappoint. Firstly Tim and Jenny are the most gracious hosts and the entire group felt well looked after so don’t panic if you are of mixed abilities. The riding was incredibly scenic and exhilarating. My first time riding a full bouncer and it was an eye opener. Highly recommend. We did a short week break which was spot on.

Everything about my short week stay at Pure Mountains was superb.Jenny and Tim are fantastic hosts and guides, nothing was any trouble for them and Tim even looked after and cleaned our bikes for us.Their farmhouse is in a great location to look out over the hills and makes a perfect, well equipped base for relaxing at the end of the day.All the food was excellent, be it breakfast or dinner served at the farmhouse or the welcome appearance of their pick-up (and occasionally faithful Land Rover) with snacks or lunch while out on the trail.It'd all be for nothing without the riding though and that doesn't disappoint! Stunning scenery and amazing fast flowing trails with more technical sections, switcbacks, rocks (lots of rocks!). If you don't like riding a bike here you probably don't like riding a bike.

We were enduro riding as a couple 2 days with tim and it was great fun! He was very empathic, full with good vibes and nice mtb skills! He planned a nice trip for the second day in higher altitude as we like it. His wife supported our ride with the 4wd. Thank you so much for this lovely experience!

Just returned home after a really memorable four days of mountain biking with Pure Mountains with my 15 yr old son. Jenny and Tim were fantastic hosts and guides and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The trails were very different from the uk - wild and high altitude with really good mix of high mountains and lower trails which made fun links between villages. We were pushed out of our comfort zone but in a really supportive way. We felt a real sense of achievement at the end of every day - we particularly enjoyed the Valley of death and Yator ridge (which I recognised from the video on their website). Pure Mountains know the area like the back of their hand. Our hire bikes were great too. It was a great father/son trip but I wouldn’t hesitate to return with a group of friends. We were brilliantly catered for and cakes were amazing! We felt like family after the four days together.

Great experience! Amazing day of riding with the kindest guides Tim and Jenny who were extrmeely kind thoughtful and gave amazing directions and coaching. We got picked up and shuttled into the Sierra Nevada National Park and then climbed up. Amazing views and descent which was followed with homemade sandwiches, cake, tea and cuddles from their lovely dogs. Truly a once and a lifetime experience. Highly recommend if you’re a biker looking to travel in Spain!

Where to begin? This mtb trip was amazing in all ways !! The riding was challenging and fun, and no pressure to ride anything I didn’t feel comfortable with. Tim and Jenny were helpful, funny, great conversationalists, and above all - the most professional guides. We always felt like we were in the best care. When my husband was unable to participate due to an injury, Tim and Jenny made an effort to ensure his continued inclusion in our riding experience, despite him not riding with the group.I feel the value for this trip is EXCELLENT, no hesitation to recommend Pure Mountains if you’re looking for an exciting, fun filled 4 day mountain bike trip!
