We had our house-to-buy inspected by ST Consultores. They missed three important aspects of the house, which cost us a lot of money.Overlooking some aspects can happen, but after mentioning our less-than-happy experience, they went into defense using assumptions to ' prove' they were right. This gave us even more worries about the quality of their inspection work. E.g. they didn't touch the tiling of our swimming pool at all, even at the spot where some tiles were off. Their defense: we only do a visual inspection. Every builder we had knocked at tiles directly, to get information on the quality. The swimming pool tiles fell off inmeaditaly. E.g. 2: they didn't see that we had two ill repaired (wrong material) places on the roofs, which was easily seen by our builders later on (visually, not even by touching), which gave trouble with the rain afterwards. While defending this they claimed to have the roof inspected on loose or broken tiles, which they didn't (and couldn;t without a step which they didn't use). E.g. 3: they missed the big damages on the pipes of the heating system, which in their defense now call ' not extremely well constructed' but didn't mention at all in their report.We really are angry because of their response that we should have bought a more expensive product, without explaining how this product would have solved the mis-detections (it still would be the same kind of inspection, but we would have paid for more advice how to deal with the things). Why pay for advice for things you still don't detect?ADDED AFTER REACTION ST CONSULTORES BELOW:As you can read they again just say that their product is perfect, instead of reacting to the reported problems which are clearly not according to the product claims.
