I brought my Citroen C3 to Nik after many attempts to fix it at many places. Luckily one of the mechanics I came with the problem recommended NV Transmatix.First Nik run the diagnostic, then explained to me what is causing the problem and what needs to be done.The car has been fixed now! Nick even called me few days after to ask if everything is going well.Amazing service. Thank you!

Took my “new” MG TF in for a clutch change as couldn’t find anybody else who would do it! Nick had never worked on this type of mid-engined car, but happy to give it a go, so it was a learning experience for him and his colleague. Turned out that the clutch release arm was sticking due corrosion (a common fault apparently) and had to be replaced with a new one from MG Mania U.K., plus new bushes in the clutch housing, and the clutch was also knackered! Happy to show me work in progress, and gave me the chance to check the underside of the car at the same time! Very good workmanship, and very friendly too! Recommended!

I needed a gearbox oil change for my Jaguar XF, which as an 8 speed auto box.When I visited NV Transmatrix, to book an appointment, I was impressed by Nic, the owner's, quiet confidence.Having now had the oil change, after a couple of appointment changes accommodated by Nic, I am delighted with the work done and excellent customer service I received. My Nissan X-Trail CVT gearbox was playing up intermittently!! Took it to Nix at NV Transmatix , to get a professional opinion, nix kept the car to test drive it to try to diagnose the problem ( but nothing, and no current faults on the diagnostic equipment)Nix explained the was busy and couldn’t start for a few weeks , I took the car back to try to get the fault to happen again.Typically no fault ! so we agreed for him to recondition the gear box. ( its a 2015 automatic X-trial done 276000km) been trouble free for the 4 years I owned it, once stripped nix call me in to show me the problem , worn CVT belt and knackered torque converter, my son back in the U.K. was a master technician at Audi and now works as an engineer at ford research and development. Nick spoke with him via a phone call explained all his thoughts and sent me pictures of all the worn parts inc’ the inside it the torque converter , ( Nic also spotted both my front wishbone bushes were badly worn) Nix reconditioned the gearbox and replaced the new wishbone’s for cost of the parts only ( he said that he had to take them off anyway so no charge for fitting the new ones) the work was done for the price Nik originally said at the time Nik said it would be done, ( Very impressive) We have just returned from a trip back to U.K. via Santander ferry over 3000km perfect all the way !!Thanks NikI would recommend NV Transmatix to anybody fantastic service

I brought my Range Rover 3.6 v8 on the back of a towing lorry to Transmatix on what I thought would be the final journey, it having been diagnosed as having both turbos u/s. However, much to my delight, I drove out a few weeks later with the car driving better than before. To replace the turbos , the whole body shell has to be removed (see pics), turbos refitted and the body shell replaced. All through the process Nic kept me up to date with costs, and gave me options to reduce those. costs. Very impressed, mainly because he told me before he started what he was going to do, and then he did it.
