Marbella Maid

We had a brilliant experience with Marbella Maid. The ladies did an amazing job for us, very thorough, very diligent, very trustworthy and the whole villa looks so much cleaner. They cleaned all our rooms, floors, cupboards and windows. Great communication throughout, very timely and super good value . We’ll be using them again.

What started off as a good collaboration, didn’t unfortunately end well. I manage few of the holiday rental properties and Pia was recommended to me about a year ago. She did a thorough job and was always on time and well organized. She increased her hourly rate 3 times during the time we worked together ( it varied depending on the season), and I always understood and paid it with no questions asked. ( I always thought I rather pay more and have a reliable and trustworthy person than loose out on a good cleaner for a small difference in grand scale). Recently however I understand she has a desire to expand her business but that is when things started to go wrong. She cancelled or tried to change the dates / hours we had already agreed on. She originally told me she wasn’t available at all for the entire upcoming month which I found strange as I tried to book the dates for following month nearly 5 weeks advance or more – but then she offered she could take the dates if she could come together with another cleaner that works for her now. I agreed as she said it will work cost wise out similar just with lesser hours with 2 people. I was used to not checking upon her, she closed the door usually behind her when done and message me the fee I owed, however this time the apartment was not cleaned thoroughly and many items were placed wrong which showed me that she did not review the cleaning job and had left after I had let them in and left the new person on her own. I found it disappointing as clearly, I thought they would be cleaning together not a new person on her own. Furthermore when I did provide feedback she kind of dismissed me and stated she has gotten too busy and has had to increase her rate again. What insults and disappointed me is that she didn’t event try to offer me a solution or if I was interested in continuing to use the services with a higher rate but she completely disregarded me. I respect and understand trying to build a business, but it is definitely a smart way to do it over letting existing long time clients down. Not to mention that we are talking about few € hourly rate increase, when I paid her a Christmas Bonus as I thought we had a long standing relationship and that should kind of be a testament to my character and how I treat my collaborators. Not to say this is not an actual company with several employees but you will be dependent on a sole trader trying to outsource the service and make profit in between. If you need occasional service and are flexible in timing then she might be a good solution for you, but if you are looking for a long term solution and loyalty then I would look elsewhere.

After going through various companies on the coast I have finally found the right person for us. Pia is very punctual ans marticulous in her work.We have 2 children so it was such a breathe of fresh air to come home to what I can almost describe as a sanctuary albeit for an hour or 2 before the kid makes the mess again.I have now contacted Pia for Weekley cleaning and she has been a godsend. Highly recommended.

I visited Marbella this summer with my family we needed support with housekeeping and cleaning searched online and I was LUCKY finding Marbella Maid.Nelly what an amazing lady always on time, friendly with the kids, very helpful and supportive she did a great job taking care of our needs during or holiday.
