Situación inmejorable a pie de la Cala de Fornells, vistas de ensueño, acogedor, personal muy atento y agradable, el desayuno es muy variado, dulces salados, frutas etc...con unas vistas impresionantes, piscina, tenis parque niños, y poder pasearse por el camino de ronda entre las calitas, fantástico"Por poner un pero

The hotel is super cute! Room was clean. We got a suite as our two girls were with us. The entire hotel is small but you won’t feel cramped. The pool has plenty of chairs. The restaurant view was amazing! The service is definitely lacking. You have to go ask for service and the staff will give you one worded answers. The main dinner restaurant foods were mediocre at best. The price doesn’t justify it. It was fine…eatable but very little flavors. We were into town our last night, and the food were 1/2 price and 10x the flavors. The cocktail menu needed the most work. Very few drinks…8 at best and only 1-2 of them were good. Would recommend the hotel for the views, don’t spend your money at the restaurant or at least once just for the views. Definitely wouldn’t stay for more than 2 nights.

This was a nice hotel in a fairly remote spot. When we checked in, they informed us that we needed to make dinner reservations - but they didn't inform us that they were almost entirely booked for that night already. So I would recommend asking this when you check-in if you don't want to eat at 11pm like we did. Good service, the food was pricey and sometimes unusual but acceptable, given the location. The beach and the pool were both fabulous!

We visit the Begur area two or three times a year and have had coffee in the hotel on numerous occasions, although never stayed.This time we decided to stay there, and this has been one of the better decisions we have taken.The hotel is incredibly well situated, on the harbour, the beach, and the coastal path, with superb views across the bay. The public areas are very attractive, comfortable, spotlessly clean, the bar area likewise, the pool amazing.Our room ( a junior suite) was situated over the outside dining area – an interesting view of parasols over the tables, but more importantly across both the hotel and sea as far as the Parador on the opposite side of the bay, and the beach below it. It was large, very comfortable and well equipped, including tea and coffee making equipment. The bathroom, also well equipped, featured an over-bath shower of ferocious power.There are no restaurants within easy walking distance, (although Begur town is less than a 10 minute drive), so if you don’t want to drive, the hotel offers the only possibility for dinner, but this is no problem. They do not take the opportunity to increase prices and offer an OK product, the food is very good, served by a well trained and eager staff (lots of them) in large portions. Wine, a very good selection, is by the bottle or by the glass, and is very reasonably priced. There is a daily menu du jour, as well as a la carte. The restaurant was full every night during our stay.Finally, I must mention the staff, who, without exception were friendly, efficient and very good at their job.Overall, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at over the past few years, this review is more for my benefit, to express our thanks to the hotel staff, as the hotel doesn’t need reviews, it is its own best recommendation. It is not cheap, but certainly worth the price.Many thanks to the whole team

I recently had a two-night stay at this hotel, nestled along the stunning Costa Brava coastline. The location is undeniably picturesque, boasting a breathtaking cove beach shared with neighboring properties, offering crystal-clear waters for a memorable experience. The hotel itself exudes a charming, albeit somewhat dated, ambiance that adds to its unique character.During my stay, I encountered some challenges with parking in their private lot, even though it was the off-season. However, my main disappointment stemmed from the food service. On my first evening, I opted for room service due to the challenging access routes and lack of taxis or car shares. The food arrived promptly, but regrettably, it fell short of expectations. From the uninspiring cheese plate to the overly greasy chicken and ham croquettes, the culinary experience left much to be desired. The saving grace was the quality of the white wine. For desert the Catalan cream (creme brulee) was generous but passable.The following morning, I indulged in the ample breakfast buffet, which offered a more satisfying experience. After long day of exploring the region I hoped for an improved dining experience, when I decided to dine at the hotel's restaurant on the second night. While the food was undeniably excellent, I encountered an issue with the maitre d' when he questioned my reservation at a hotel that was only 50% occupied. Despite confirming that I was indeed a hotel guest, he reluctantly seated me at a table near an open doorway, adjacent to the busing attendants' station at the back of the patio. This left me with a somewhat unfavorable impression.I couldn't help but notice that the maitre d' treated other guests differently, displaying more warmth and attentiveness throughout their meals. Unfortunately, I did not experience the same level of hospitality. In summary, this property is undeniably fine, but its food service stands out as its weakest aspect.

This charming hotel is one to revisit year on year. The vistas, the housekeeping, overall service quality are excellent. The terrace restaurant quality appears to my palette to have declined in standard serving food of huge portions without much subtlety. The clientele now seems to comprise a large number of group travelers, and the service and food seem to have adjusted accordingly. The breakfast buffet however is excellent, with offerings that reflect the region as well as catering to a more international clientele.

Absolutely gorgeous location, right on the sea, with immediate beach access and extensive but cozy facilities. Very friendly service. Reasonable reservation rates. Food was just okay. Coffee and tea options are very limited and not the best quality. But lots of other food is nearby. Rooms were spacious but some rooms need basic renovations. Very clean We would definitely stay here again, despite any shortcomings. We had so much fun. Spent every waking hour at the beach , in the water, eating, reading... ❤️

Hotel magnífico en un entorno precioso entre calas….La habitación sensacional por su decoración, su amplitud y por las vistas de su amplia terraza.El desayuno buffet muy completo y agradable contemplando el mar en primera línea…

We liked this hotel so much we went back and stayed a second time. A beautiful experience all around. My husband and I booked the romantic escape package and it was a delight. The special dinner was so fun and the cava and snacks brought to the room was a welcome treat too. We highly recommend this hotel in Begur!
