B&B Wine and Cooking Penedès

This place is absolutely perfect for discovering the Penedés. Marta and Magnus are super hosts and spoil you already in the morning with a fantastic breakfast. Marta is an excellent cook and also runs cooking evenings. We will certainly make up for this on our next visit. Marta and Magnus are always helpful and have good tips on what's on and what else to visit in the area. If you want to relax, just stay on site by the refreshing pool. You can get drinks (including beer, wine and cava) at the cool pool bar (self-serving). It's almost like in paradise und for us the best place to stay in the Penedés. My wife and I couldn't have imagined a more-perfect place to spend the last three days of our three-plus weeks in Italy and Spain. You just know when the owners of a place take pride in what they do, and it's very evident here. Marta and Magnus couldn't have been more welcoming (nor could their part-dog/part-cat cat Tom) and made us feel at home. The B&B itself is beautiful, down a not-rocky dirt road in the vineyards and facing out over the valley with an infinity pool and Marta and Magnus's small vineyard laid out in front of you. The panoromic view is beautiful. The grounds are lovingly kept. We could have happily spent all three days lounging on our patio and doing nothing else, but the advice M&M gave us in person and on their well-thought-out website nudged us to go a little further afield. The rooms are cozy and well-appointed. The bed was the best we slept the entire trip. The place is immaculately clean. The breakfasts were also by far the best we had the entire trip: fresh-squeezed orange juice, different pastries and entrees, Magnus's Swedish waffles, and always freshly-made eggs. This is what all B&Bs should aspire to be: the kind of place you're happy to come home to (and look forward to coming home to) after a day out.

Mejor imposible! Un placer para los sentidos en todos los aspectos. Marta y Magnus unos anfitriones y unas personas excelentes. Los detalles y elbuen gusto saltan a la vista nada más traspasar la puerta. Un remanso de paz entre viñas al que será imposible no volver.

I had a 5 star experience staying at the B&B. The owners treat you like family, going above and beyond to ensure you're cared for.Set on a picturesque hill overlooking vineyards, the property is truly breath-taking. The rooms? Picture-perfect with cozy beds and spacious showers. And the infinity pool? A refreshing dip with a vineyard view.Fresh and delicious breakfast with local ingredients is served every morning. Sitting outside and eating with the view was a highlight for me.The e-bikes make visiting nearby vineyards a breeze. Highly recommend this blend of luxury and homeliness with a sprinkle of adventure. An absolute gem!

My wife and I had a short two-night break here including an evening cooking class. The thing that makes this place so special is the personalised and professional attention of Marta and Magnus, the owners and team behind this marvellous venue. No detail is too small, and their natural warmth and engagement makes you feel like you've known them years. Lovely people who have build a wonderful business using their hearts and minds well. It's a place that people return to time and again and I suspect we will do the same.Right in the heart of Penedès, the lovely old house has been updated to include 5 guest bedrooms and a swimming pool. The rooms are nicely done and we did not want for anything during our stay. A great location for visiting wineries and restaurants by car or bicycle, which we also did. And a relaxing place to just chill by the pool when you want to.Breakfasts are pretty amazing - mostly local and home produce, including eggs from their own chickens. Everything so fresh and yummy. Breakfast in the garden by the pool overlooking the plains, vineyards and hills is a great start to the day. And great sunsets too - we ate our delicious cooking-class dinner in the same location. Simply lovely.The cooking class was a really nice evening of wine, chat and learning how to make great food. A little participation from the guests, but expertly led by Marta with her trusty husband-assistant, Magnus. Great evening, lovely company, amazing food.Highly recommended. Hats off to Marta and Magnus who have really found their niche in making this wonderful place what it is.

Marta and Magnus are great hosts and the breakfast was insane! The beautiful location of this b&b is the best way to discover the Penedes area.We’re def going back this autumn.

We stayed here for a few nights and absolutely loved it. Initially we had the whole place to ourselves and it was amazing. Beautiful views of vineyards nearby and fairly quiet. The pool was chilly buy nice. You could grab snacks right on the premises and they even gove you your choice of a bottle of wine when you first arrive.Magnus and Marta was great hosts, and we absolutely loved the breakfast. The town nearby is pretty small so you do have to drive about 5 miles to most markets and restaurants. This was surrounded by lots of vineyards that made cava. We enjoyed a few of them. Could not recommend this place more!

Un sitio espectacular y los propietarios son encantadores. Marta & Magnus siempre están con una sonrisa, ofreciendo todo lo mejor que tienen y con un don de servicio que te hacen sentir como en casa. La casa es muy bonita, las habitaciones muy cómodas y los productos tanto del desayuno, como (dependiendo del pack que elijas) de la dinner box o vinos, cavas, aceites de oliva y chocolates son de primera calidad. Super recomendado! Seguro volveremos muy pronto para disfrutar nuevamente de este sitio tan maravilloso y tan cerca de Barcelona :).
