Camping Don Quijote
Great camping with a friendly staff that always make us feel very welcome. Bus ride away from Salamanca. Good wifi, great sanitary facilities, lots of shade, excellent restaurant on site (usually full, better to book it). Prices not too bad (€24 for a camper van with 2 people and electricity in November). We stop here each time when traveling between Portugal and France.

Camping Don Quijote
Camping con los aseos renovados, mucha sombra y hay un paseo al lado del río muy agradable. Esta a 5 minutos en coche de Salamanca. Muy tranquilo. Mayormente ocupado por extranjeros que pasan un día. Tiene parque para niños. Si te pones en la parte contraria al curso del río se escuchan mucho los coches y el tren cuando pasa.

Camping Don Quijote
Generally the camp grounds are quite pleasant. quiet at night and clean facilities. Friendly reception staff. Fresh pastries for breakfast. That’s the end of the positive side. The pool was packed like sardines in a tin. Nowhere to lay the towel and dirty water at the end of the day. (It’s summer so to be expected). The area where we put our tent down had ants everywhere and some fire ants. Ant hills untreated by the shower blocks. The staff at the restaurant were so incredibly rude it’s like you work at a camping ground what’s with the attitude. You need new waiters there. In the end the stay was fine.
