Galeon Suites - Aparthotel Port Pollensa

Fantastic small hotel. Antonia is great - very helpful and friendly. Even though the hotel was full there were no issues getting sun beds and often we were the only people around the pool. Beach is directly opposite and not too busy. Breakfast is lovely and again always tables available. Great terrace on the middle floor with a sea breeze - nice to sit with a book in the afternoon. Shop only 5 minutes walk away.

My Partner booked a Sea View Suite at this hotel for four nights on the 6th July 2019, he received an email the same day to confirm the booking also offering a free meal and airport transfers which was not necessarily important to us just a nice Sea View room. On arrival (6th September 2019) the Receptionist told us we had not got that room but a room in an apartment block 200 meters from the hotel, no email was sent to inform us of this prior to arrival. The Receptionist made the excuse that the computer had not blocked our booking and had booked the suite out to another customer. This is a poor excuse no discount or an apology was offered because after all it was there mistake, she also admitted that they had known about the problem weeks before but not interested in emailing us. We did however, walk through Porta Pollenca and found a better hotel and the price was cheaper (so lucky). I would definitely not recommend this hotel no no to the Galeon.

En la habitación había bichos. Los muebles de la habitación viejos. No se podía evitar que entrase luz por las ventanas ya que las cortinas no cerraban adecuadamente. La televisión está colocada en la parte trasera de la cama, por lo que no la puedes ver a no ser que gires el cuello 180 grados. El aire acondicionado no funciona. El baño sin puerta. La atención de los empleados es buena y correcta. El desayuno está bien y el servicio correcto. La única persiana que hay en la habitación, esta rota, para cerrarla tiene atada una cinta. El baño tiene el techo de uralita que al llover hace un ruido enorme y por la noche despierta. Un hotel de 4 estrellas que está viejo y realmente el importe que cobran no es ni mucho menos apropiado.

Very relaxed atmosphere, quiet hotel, beautiful calm beach. They give you clean towels every two days and lend you beach towels as well which they don't change often (unless you ask very nicely!).Continental breakfast is included with nice coffee, hot chocolate lattes etc, and 3 warm options including some sort of eggs (usually scrambled), some roast vegetables and meat and plenty of pastries (also cereal, milk, fruit juice, yoghurt and fresh fruit). All you can eat.Absolutely loved it, stayed there for four nights, didn't use the self catering but it was very comprehensive with oven, hob, fridge and even an American style coffee machine.Close enough to pollensa to walk but far enough away to be chilled out and quiet.They have a jacuzzi on the roof which guests should be able to use but it was empty when we arrived and has apparently not been fixed in years (hence 4 stars). There is a sauna up there as well and the roof terrace is a lovely place to sit with an amazing view.All in all, fantastic.

Habitaciones muy bien, equipadas con microondas a pie de playa, se come/cena muy bien, estuvimos solo un día, balcón a pie de playa, tranquilidad absoluta, la playa no muy extensa en amplitud, pero sí muy larga.Hacia el norte andando a pocos minutos encuentras el puerto y mas actividad de ocio y restauración, pero aun así todo es zona muy tranquila y apacible, nada que ver con otras zonas de desmadre en mallorca.Hacia el sur, encuentras calas reconditas y maravillosas de las que quedamos enamorados, de agua cristalina turquesa, arena fina blanca y en entornos y paisajes naturales increibles!!!Muy recomendable el Este de mallorca para quien busque tranquilidad, paz y naturaleza

Still a few days left here and havent yet tried all the facilities. Will update this post. Staff lovely and friendly and gave a warm welcome. Fantastic location. The road outside is mostly quite and not a problem at all. Great place to relax and watch the world cycle/jog by . Restaurant on the ground floor is very good . Good extensive menu including lots of local dishes and lovely staff. Will definitely consider a return visit.

Bad experience.We save money during all the year for this month of vacacions.The rooftop has a great view and the employees are really kind, the hostel is 30mins walking of any opened shop. The warm water is not alway insured and it's cold the night in the rooms (mid March period).When we arrive at the hostel we learned that the breakfast was not included despite of the Airbnb description. Whe told Aina the Owner how much we are desapointed.Her answer was that we had a big promotion (that was normal, we went during cold season, in covid pandemic and booked for a month that mean's 30% less) and that the breakfast cost is 300€/month for two.We understood the position of the hostel. Error is human and we just wanted to be understood. Cause we pay for a service that was included and our choice was made in part because of the breakfast to.Was is really pitiful is that there was several way to let us feel that the hostel was sorry for the disturbance : goodwill gesture for the breakfast, promotion on our price reservation, room upgrade, any symbolic gesture should has been welcomed even a hot drink but we only got kind of IA bot answers like We're sorry

This is the second time we've stayed here. First time 2017 in Sep we booked a sea front room and after having to wait a day before we could get into our room as was not ready for us. We had a problem with the sitting room and bedroom flooding after a storm. 2018 September we came back and was given another sea front room with shared access which we didn't know about until we arrived. The ceiling leaked badly and nobody on site to deal with it. Tried to telephone contact numbers given but went straight to answering machine, we found a bucket and mop and started to dry the floor. At 4am we were wakened up to the sound of running water to find the ceiling was leaking badly. This apartment has signs of water damage so this isn't the first time there has been leaks. Won't be back here.

Hands off! This hotel, or rather hostel is an absolute disaster!As mentioned by some of my predecessors, there is only now and then hot water. You have to say at the beginning at what times it suits you, first we thought it's a joke. But it isn't and despite the indication of times, we had only irregularly hot water - an absolute no-go! Especially if the room is rented long term and offered as a home office. We actually wanted to use it as that, which of course was hardly possible.Also, other periods and prices are given on the Internet than can then actually be booked. We had booked online for 25 days long-term rental"

No le pongo menos 5 estrellas porque el sistema mo lo permite. Estuvimos una noche. No había agua caliente en los baños. No nos pudimos duchar. Los a/a tenían los filtros tan sucios que no salía aire caliente. Pasamos frío. Se inundó un baño. Pero lo peor fue la comida que nos sirvieron en la habitacion. Nos trajeron una paella que si te la comes con los ojos cerrados no sabes que comes. Solo era arroz amarillo. El conejo al ajillo de la noche parecía un trozo de conejo hervido con 4 patatas sosas. Nos trajeron 6 mini croquetas para 4, en teoría de jamón ibérico, pero yo no lo VI por ningún lado. La merluza empanada era incomible . Ni comimos ni cenamos y tampoco pudimos pedir nada porque todo estaba cerrado por las restricciones. El desayuno estuvo bien porque no es muy difícil prepararlo y porque nos moríamos de hambre. Lo mejor fue que después de quejarnos, la dueña nos hizo la gracia del descuento. Nos descontó 5 euros por persona. NO VAYAIS DE VERDAD
