Update required. So after my initial post, the management have taken impressive steps to solve the issues to make sure we are as comfortable as possible. Dinner last night was really great, with chicken Tikka Masala and home made Naan bread. The surf has been on the bigger side for the last few days, but is forecast to drop off to a more manageable size for the next days. The area here is beautiful.Thank yiu Dream sea for the wddirts put in to solve the problems. So far, it's a disaster. The tent is covered in mildew and the bed is nothing less than a catastrophe. You might as well actually be sleeping on the floor.. 2 ablution basins for the whole camp is not enough, as well as 4 showers and toilets that are also a disaster (broken toilet seats). The food is average at best, and the coffee machine produces nothing more than partially brown water. Spent the last 2 years at Ujusansa, so was expecting something similar. Wish I had not booked, and will cut the holiday short and go somewhere else. Don't waste your money...

In July, on a last minute whim, my girlfriend and I booked a one week stay at the surf camp and it was one of the best things we've done on our five month trip in Europe! We had never surfed before but our instructors Antonio and Victor (Ricardo) were amazing and really paid special care to teach us everything they could. The campground is top notch, glamping was incredible and theres heaps of places to chill out on the grounds. The staff are amazing and really get to know the guests, there was an event on every night which was always fun. We are beyond happy with our decision to stay at the surf camp and want to say a big thank you to the staff! With love, from your little kangaroos <3

Amazing surf camp people are great very friendly and helpful. The location is astounding within forest unfortunately getting there without a car is impossible so will need to book a transfer. For surf lesson there is a direct transport to the beach and also for getting around you can grab a bike. The only 2 things that could be improved are showers and food. Showers are not in the greatest condition and sometimes there is no hot water. And the food is good sometimes even delicious but it vary a lot from meal to meal. Bring some food for the first day if you arrive after 2-3 pm you will have to wait till dinner at 7:30 to eat

Dreamsea Cantabria was one of the best choices i have made this year! Everything was well arranged and they put a lot of effort in giving you the perfect week. There were a lot of nice people, both guests and staff en they have good surf instructors! Together with the good and healthy food and the activities they organise for people to bond, they create a warm place to have a great time and spend you holidays. I can definately recommend it!

Fantastic! The whole experience has been so great I was sad to come back home. I came here in August 22 and met the most awesome people. All the staff is very friendly, all the surf teacher’s are great, especially Tino and Laura. The food is sometimes a hit and sometimes miss for me, but other people complimented the food a lot. The breakfast is great but it get a little tedious after you eat the same fruit salad and sandwich every day. The lunches I mostly didn’t like - some sort of salad often with beans. Nutritious but I didn’t enjoy it so I opted for a fruit salad, but that one was often finished if you came to breakfast late. The tents are nice - I stayed in the private tent. They are a little bit small and get very very hot in the sun, so bear that in mind. You get transported to the beach by bus for surfing. There is a smaller beach closer which you can reach by bike but we never went. The bike do not seen to be in the best condition, only a few seem to work. The showers are the worst part of the camp sadly. There are 4 for the whole camp and there is usually no warm water. We were reluctant to use the showers from the campsite next to the dreamsea but I would highly recommend going there, as the water pressure is good and we never experienced the lack of hot water. Additionally we have attended the picnic which was around €25 per person. I would highly recommend attending. It’s in a beautiful setting during a sunset, there is live music, wine and time to connect with all the amazing people staying at the camp. It was a great time and I’m sure we will be back.
