Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & SPA

I recently had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience at Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa when I encountered a bedbug infestation in the hotel room. Despite reaching out to both the hotel and their customer service, I received no assistance or reimbursement for the night. This ordeal has left me deeply dissatisfied with Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa's handling of the situation and their lack of responsibility, especially given the current bedbug concerns in the travel industry.Upon arriving at Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa, I got into the hot tub in the room, but it was cold. So then I changed into the robe and got on the bed to wait for the hot tub to warm up. I immediately noticed signs of a bedbug infestation in the room. I noticed small, reddish spots on the bed sheets, and upon lifting the mattress cover I noticed bugs and eggs further confirming my suspicions. I promptly photographed the evidence as a record of the issue, given the gravity of the situation.I then contacted the hotel's front desk, but their response was nothing short of apathetic. I was offered another room, but I did not want to stay in a facility with bedbugs. Despite my concerns and the pictures I provided, they showed no urgency in addressing the problem in issuing a refund for the evening. In the end, I had no choice but to leave the hotel and find alternative accommodation at my own expense. This experience not only disrupted my travel plans but also caused financial strain. It is deeply disappointing to witness such a lack of responsibility and accountability from Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa, especially given the current bedbug concerns in Europe.I also reached out to Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa's customer service in hopes of finding a resolution and a refund for the night. However, my experience with their customer service was equally disappointing. Despite providing photographic evidence of the bedbug infestation and emphasizing the seriousness of the situation, the representative still has not reimbursed me for the night's stay despite not even staying there that evening.In conclusion, my stay at Quinta do Pedregal Hotel & Spa was marred by bedbugs, and I received no support or reimbursement for the night. I strongly advise fellow travelers to exercise caution when booking with this hotel, as their response to such a distressing situation was inadequate and disheartening. Furthermore, I urge them to take all necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of their guests.

Really like the place. The service of the people is awesone, food is very nice (please order the apple crumble and the other one dessert :) ). Breakfast is very nice as well.Your pet is allowed any place (except spa of course). For small ones is 10€/night.They have charging hause socket (2kW) for 15€/charge.Then, there are some place around to ho to some easy hikes lime the road of the mills

Fantastic. The staff is really gentle and helpful. The bedrooms are extremely cozy and clean. The prices are compatible to the comfort you will have. It is really worth.Internet connection was fast and stable. I could work there without any interruption or sluggish connection.

We only spent one night at the hotel just, but it was wonderful.Minimalistic, modern design of the hotel, perfect breakfast, SPA and excellent service with sincere care of the guests created amazing atmosphere.Thank you for hospitality!We would love to come back ❤️

Precioso alojamiento rodeado de naturaleza a orillas del Duero. Todas las comodidades y el restaurante de diez, tanto por los productos como por la elaboración. El ambiente es muy agradable, tranquilo y acogedor, con mención especial a todo el personal que es un amor! Las experiencias en barco inolvidables. Además está muy cerca de Porto, Gaia y de otros muchos puntos de interés. Espero poder regresar pronto!!!

Beautiful houses and ambience, very quiet, perfect for a weekend retreat. We stayed at Casa do Sobreiro" and the jacuzzi was priceless. The outdoor pool is nice but we enjoyed the spa more - with a sauna

What a wonderful and peaceful place. Fresh food, great service and gives you the ambiance of being far away from noise and cities. Nice pool, perfect spa. Not big and very intimate.

We (my boyfriend and our two dogs and I) stayed at Quinta do Pedregal for two days and loved every second. The staff is incredibly nice, warm and welcoming as well as extremely detail-oriented. Our room was very nice, with two chairs and a small table outside with some lawn. We had dinner there once and although a bit pricy for us, we liked it very much. The swimming pool outside is the perfect size, with lots of shade and spaces to sit/lie down and read. There is a nice and quiet atmosphere all over, not only in the spa area which also was very nice! Something we especially are thankful for is their “real” and fantastic dogfriendliness (for medium-sized dogs, only 10€ each, plus beds and bowls to feed them in the room and also outside, a big garden area to walk the dogs…), and their sardine toast as a great snack to accompany a non overpriced mojito! All over simply a joy! We will be back soon for sure :)

La mejor de las experiencias.El trato por parte del personal ha sido extraordinario. El hotel es encantador y realmente cómodo. Ha sido un placer disfrutar de un oasis de descanso tan cerca de Oporto.Además, nos acompañaba nuestra mascota (un pastor belga) y las atenciones hacia ella fueron tan buenas como a nosotros.Definitivamente las cinco estrellas más merecidas.Un abrazo. Volveremos!
